TAILPIECE VIOLIN 5 STRING, CARBON COMPOSITE WITH CABLE

In my opinion, if you have a violin smaller than 4/4, built-in fine tuners are a must in your tailpiece. This particular tailpiece appears to be well-built and the tone of the violin it went into was not negatively affected. I even think it sounds better but I don't have very trained ears for this sort of thing. It has a good, solid feel to it, as with most Glasser products I have checked out. This makes tuning a breeze since you're no longer having to oscillate repetitively until you find the "right spot" and your pegs decide to quit slipping on you.

Seems to work just fine. I had to modify the ball holders to accept wider strings. Luckily they are made of plastic.
