Baerreis Oven Rack Shelf Puller - Unusual Flag Maple, Hand Carved - Original Kitchen Tool!

I was very pleased with this oven rack tool. It was very nicely packaged and came with a personally signed card from the seller.

I believe this oven rack puller has saved me from burns twice already. How do I know? Because the large loop (not quite 3/4 inch) allowed me to hang it on my towel rack nearby. Visible, but unobtrusive. I actually thought to grab it instead of my usual dry towel. (I don’t use the oven mitt or potholder because I don’t want to fuss with getting them on and off the tiny loops.) Practical function with an attractive form. The reason I chose to splurge on a lovely artisan piece. Mine is the Flag Maple, which has a more variegated color grain than those I currently see available. It was wrapped in an appropriately simple cloth and ribbon and boxed; ready for gift-giving.
