The soft rubber-like Otter Defender Pro began cracking and the port covers broke at the hinge area. I could not purchase the one part that needed to be replaced, and the "sale" price from OtterBox was $46.00 plus shipping. I really didn't want to spend that much for my 3 1/2 year old phone, so I searched Amazon Prime, and found this 3 part case, priced at $12.98. Almost all of the reviews were positive, with a few stated that the case did not fit their phone. I decided that this product had a free return period, so I ordered it, and received my package 2 days later. This case fit my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 perfectly, and the 3 parts of this case were not different in terms of quality, function or fit. I'm very pleased, and in the future,, will order from this supplier when I get a new phone. For those reviews stating that it didn't fit their phone, perhaps you picked the wrong model for your phone... Who knows.

My Otter case was done, finito, kaput. It served its purpose in keeping my Note 9 safe and secure. It wasn't until I went to find a replacement that I realized how old my phone is, and there wasn't a case in sight to be found. This is a serviceable replacement. Buy with confidence.

if anybody is buying a note 9 in 2021 then this is the case to have.this is not a otterbox but is just as sturdy.i work construction and dropped my phone on concrete,in mud,wet cement and kept my phone clean and protected

This is my go to phone case. It's on the thicker side and will not allow you to charge on a charging pad but, I recently traded in my 2 1/2 year old phone and the tech said it looked like a brand new phone. Side note I'm super clumsy so I drop my phone All the time.

Husband had bought the name brand one prior and he said this is just as good with lower cost. It did take a long time to receive

Seems higher quality than an actual Otterbox. Fits perfectly. Very sturdy. Great price. Everything functions as it should

I've had 2 otter box exactly the same as this for $80 and only last a year so if this lasts a year for $18 ill be happy. Trying to return to otter box during covid is a nightmare so buying the cheapest and hopefully its just as good.
