Great boots
These boots are being used in northern Alaska and they are warm and waterproof. Very good product.

I love my Baffin boots!
I bought a pair 10 years ago for our Michigan winters. I wanted to buy a 2nd pair because my partner loves them so much. Our feet have never been cold while shoveling snow, walking behind the snowblower, riding the tractor, or 2 hours of snowshoeing. I love how they are easy to put on and take off too. I highly recommend these boots.

Very comfortable and fit great
I needed a pair of winter boots this year, and a friend recommended this brand. They arrived quickly, and the next day I went snowshoeing with a group of friends. I am really pleased with how comfortable and warm these boots are. This model (Tundra) was listed as being just undersized. My shoe size is 13D, so I ordered a size 14. I can literally slip my foot in and out of these boots with ease, but once my foot is in the boot, there is no heel slippage or toe wiggles. They fit great. The toe box is perfect. I spent roughly 5 hours in 25F degree weather snowshoeing and my feet were warm and cozy, and even without breaking in these boots, I had zero issues with pain points or blisters. And the best part is I could just pull my foot out of the boot at the end of the day. I'm 65 and have arthritis in my left hip and knee, so bending over to buckle or unbuckle boots is really painful. These boots are as comfortable and convenient as my Merrill shoes. My advice is to order one size larger than your shoe size, especially if you have a wide foot. I can recommend these boots to anyone without hesitation. Exceptionally well-made and very warm and comfortable.

Good enough with some minor gripes
Good boot. Wore it on a long 1.29mile walk. I am a size 11 shoe with big toes so I get 12's for my hiking boots. I intend to take these to wear in Iceland so I don't freeze when trying to see the Northern Lights. I wanted to make sure they worked well just standing around and they do. The inner boot is high and hugs well. The toe box also works and when I get my inner sock and boot socks on it should cut down on that loose back heel movement that pulls down your sock. I could have used a second higher velcro band as the single one is nice but two would have been perfect. Also, please understand boot makers those loops to help you pull up your boots should be wide enough for three gloved fingers to fit in instead of just one unloved pinky finger. I haven't tested the water resistant qualities yet so that remains to be seen. As for the sole and grip it is excellent and the wide track is very stable.

So warm I bought 2!
We live in Alaska, near the arctic circle. Needless to say, winters are long and cold. Good outerwear is essential. These boots fit the bill. I have a pair my son wore a lot. When he outgrew my boots, I bought him these. Another son liked them too, so I also bought him his own pair. Now my boots are my own once again and my boys have a pair of warm boots....at least for a few months, until they outgrow these and I have to order them the next size up! It's nice to know that even on the coldest of days, they can stay out all day and their toes are safe from frostbite.

Runs small
These are great boots but I just got lucky getting a size higher. I figured I would order one size up to fit a thick pair of socks but with just a regular pair of socks it’s a snug fit

Too many dollars flushed down the toilet.
Will not buy a Baffin product again. Terrible fit, even sizing up. I never have a problem with 5:11 for example, of which I have 3 pairs of Boots, even their pants. Never once have I had to return because sizing was wrong.

All in all, not the greatest of products.
I have bought the boots to use on a photography trip in Norway and Iceland during the winter. They were a little too large for me but provided reasonable support for wearing all day long for two-week period. The boots are very good to walk in the snow. They keep you reasonably warm (though I seriously doubt the -40 claim, as they do get cold and do not provide a perfect insulation what so ever). And in those days that I was mainly in the snow they performed well. However, when used not on snow they have some major flaws:1. They have no “give” and transfer everything they step on right into your foot. Walking on a street you will feel every cobble stone, every in perfection in the side walk, every stone you are stepping right into your feet. It makes them very uncomfortable to use, unless you are walking on snow.2. They have no traction what so ever. Ever little patch of ice will make you slide (and if unlucky fall). This is a major flaw for winter boots. While I don’t expect them to have the traction of a microspikes added on – some traction should be there.3. They are not water proof at all. Walking in a puddle which was not that deep meant that water was sipping in into the boot making everything cold and frozen. Again major flaw for a winter boot.
