Great boots in Manitoba!
I bought those to prepare for curling outdoor in Manitoba. I normally wear size 7 but after checking other users' reviews, I bought size 8 M. It was just right size and kept my feet warm when I was curling, sightseeing and walking outdoors in Manitoba Winnipeg. Also love one more feature of this boots: easy to wear in and out. Super convenient at the airport for security check! No need to lace up or down. No struggle to take feet out of boots (even socks). Also it truly was waterproof when it snowed and rained. But if you were going to stand still at outdoors for quite a while without moving, your feet do feel cold from the sole. At least for me at the curling opening ceremony. But once I moved around, the boots warmed up right away. Strongly recommended.

WARM!
I finally found "the" boot. I have been looking forever for a boot that would keep my feet warm. I had to retire my Lacrosse 20+ year old boots and was looking for anything that would compare to being as warm as they were. I finally found them! This morning our temperature was -5 so I thought it would be a good day to go romping around outside just to see how warm they actually are. I was VERY impressed! I was outside for over two hours walking around in the snow and my feet were so toasty warm. I have a lot of problems with cold feet and I "have" to have a boot that will keep them warm. These are it for me. And did I mention how comfy they are? It is like walking on a mattress. :) I guess the only thing that was a little hard for me to get used to, at first, are the higher tops these have, but after wearing them for an hour or so they limbered right up and I was used to them. Like any shoe/bootyou buy, at first, you need to get used to them on your feet. Some people complain about them being heavy. I don't think they are at all. My former boots were "much" heavier. I suppose if you are use to a very light, cold boot, these would seem heavier. But, that is where the warmth comes in. They are a very well-made boot. I just can't say enough good about them. I would give them more stars if I could....UPDATE: Still loving these boots. The only thing I have noticed is that if you want your feet to stay REALLY warm, make sure to warm the boot up first. We have a porch that stays around 40 degrees in the winter and my feet are always a bit cooler when I just put them on from the porch. That is to be expected of course, but they don't seem to warm up at all after wearing them for awhile. When I bring them in for awhile, that really makes a huge difference. Still an excellent boot! They are holding up real well.

Warm feet!
I've couldnt seem to find a warm boot. Until now! I was surprised how light weight they are and how warm they keep my feet! Wish they made half sizes. I did go a size up and they are a little loose. Overall happy, they are very comfortable, fit great in my snowshoes, and keep my feet warm on snowmobile.

Very very warm snowboot!
I'm soooooo glad I bought these boots now that we've been pummeled by 21 inches of wet heavy snow. These boots are perfect for heavy snow in subzero temps. Just a warning though, these boots look BIG! Understandably so because they're rated for -148. I'm not sure how many people in the world are elite enough to ever test this assertion, but they will likely work for whatever cold temperatures I'll ever experience. If you're into the new Ugg boot look, then they won't look comparatively that big but they are warm because they have a 1" foam liner inside them. They look a lot like snowboarding boots when you put them on. The liner makes it hard to tuck any normal pant cuffs inside them but if you're wearing long underwear with skipants then this works or you can roll your cuffs up and tuck them inside the cinch sleeve at the top. I wear a 7.5 street shoe and ordered a size 8 which fits perfectly. I am 5'4" and the boot comes up about mid-calf and it's about 14-15" tall from the ground. The shoe part of it is 12" measuring from the heel to the toe.

Just need to break them in
When I first put these on I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep them. The toe area, as noted by a lot of other reviews, is very tight and feels uncomfortable. It also was like wearing a ski boot. I wore them around the house for a while and wasn’t sure what to do. I ended up keeping them and am glad I did! The toe area loosened up as did the stiff boot feel, or I got used to the latter, but the most important things: they are comfortable to walk in for long times and mostly, they keep my feet warm!!! I work outside in the snow so keeping my feet warm is vital. They’re easy to slip on and off and there is a drawstring at the top of the boot to help keep snow out. I attached the clasps around the calf area but don’t have them tight. If I were to hike or need to walk longer distances in deep snow I’d probably consider cinching them down tightly but for everyday usage it’s not necessary. Glad I kept them and recommend them if you’re looking for something to keep your feet warm in cold winter conditions.

The best boots for extreme winter conditions
Great boots! I wear them when I go snowmobiling, and I must say they are perfect for that. They are comfortable and most importantly they keep me warm and dry all day long. But, at the end of the day you have to remember to do following: carefully remove (take out) the inner boot system and boot insole, and allow it to air dry overnight; Next morning, you can put it back in, and you'll be all set. The inner boot system is designed to keep you warm (by maintaining you body's temperature), while the outer boot protects you from wind, snow, ice, etc. Well, it is obvious that there will be some sort of condensation between these two boot layer (inner and outer) which means that the inner boot system and boot insole will be wet (or at least damp); therefore, you need to make sure you allow your boots to properly air dry before you wear them again. Now, when it comes to a sizing, they are true to the size, but if you are planning on wearing super thick wool socks or maybe several sock layers (e.g. evaporator and regulator and/or insulator), then you may want to consider going a size up. If you are half-size (e.g 8.5), then 9 would be just perfect fit for you.

Awesome Boot!
My husband bought me the relatively same boot over 12 years ago and have finally wore out!! Best Boot Ever!! I wanted this same Boot but obviously over the years things change but this Boot is the next Best replacement. I had to order a size bigger then usual but that was ok.Amazon is great, got the 8,to small and within a few days of return and reorder I got my size 9 and they are just as great as my original boots that lasted.for over 12 years!! I use these boots to ice fish and hunt out in the coldest elements and my worse feeling is having cold feet and these are the Best!! Nothing worse then if you have cold feet, then you get cold faster but with this boot. Your our very good to stay outside in the cold for a very long time and comfortable! Well worth the money. Some may think expensive, but not for what you are getting!! Great product all the way around!!

Great boots, fit a bit small
I was so hesitant to spend this much on winter boots however was tired of wet cold feet from my winter boots so caved in. I have to say I am soooo impressed with these. Just had our first snow fall with sun zero temps. Feet stayed dry and warm with 2-1/2 hours of shoveling slushy wet snow. The inner lining a very plush and comfortable. I usually wear a 9-1/2 to 10. Ordered the 10 and they fit snug with fuzzy socks on however that being said they were extremely comfortable. I’m expecting these to last many years.

HUGE and WARM
Want warm boots? These are it.1) first they are SO comfortable! Feels like walking on a cloud! So much padding the souls feel like a cushioned sneaker.2) there is SO much padding that there is no way your feet will get cold in these. They are rated -100 and I believe it.3) because there is so much padding, they are HUGE! The picture above compares the Baffin Impact with the same size of Baffin Snogoose. This is ultimately the reason that I’ll be returning them. My husband doesn’t think I’ll be able to drive with them and thinks they are overkill even for our Canadian prairie winters (I’m not a winter camper or snowmobiler).4) Because they are so padded, you’ll definitely need to size up. I’m women’s 9.5 and sized up to size 11 and it was a great fit.

Smaller fit, very warm
Amazing boots wish the ad didn’t specify fits as expected as I bought a size bigger than I usually wear and they just fit me; which works but I prefer my winter boots with a bit of extra room to keep my feet warmer, thankfully these boots are so warm I don’t think this will be an issue and having worn them outdoors a few times already my always cold feet have been toasty warm
