Great bender that is super easy to use.
I read all the reviews about this bender before buying it. I am bending 1.5" DOM tubing without any problems. The trick is going slow and allow the metal to stretch. I went fast with seamless stainless steel and got kinks.

Works well enough with some minor adjustments
This bender is an inexpensive replacement for a more expensive unit that was stolen from the shop. It does bend 0.120 wall HREW mild steel tubing but leaves some minor indentations on the inner tube where the mounting screw holes are located. The retention straps (saddle) are to large for the smaller diameter tubing and require a small spacer (made from the same wall thickness tubing) placed between the tubing and the strap (saddle) to allow the full bend range. Also recommend grinding the lock bolt to a round point and using another piece of tubing to protect the tube at the contact point for the lock bolt. One additional note, the strap (saddle) retaining pin is not convenient to remove when there is a piece of tubing in the bender. Just release the jack tension slightly and remove the follower roller pin to allow removal of the tube. Overall it works OK but I wish I had spent the money for a better bender.

dollar for dollar....
While I wouldn't put this bender against other professional tubing benders, you cant beat the price or quality! It wont bend anything over 1 inch past 60 degrees, but again, it isn't a $2000 dollar unit, which is what you would spend on a better unit with all the dies this comes with! I have already made a couple roof racks out of 1 inch tube, added tubular beef to my winch bumper, and will be finishing up the cage in my rockcrawler. Its so nice to be able to bend with hydraulic power instead of yanking on a manual bender too!I did have a problem when my 1.5 inch die cracked on the first bend, but a call to Eastwood and they shot me out a replacement ASAP. Hands down a great company, excellent customer service.

... not be used for work that needs to be nice looking as the tubes end up with nasty markings ...
It can not be used for work that needs to be nice looking as the tubes end up with nasty markings from the dye mounting screw holes

Eastwood = Inferior Quality
Eastwood sells cheap, inferior junk and their lifetime warranty is a sham. Product broke first time I used it and they wouldn't stand behind it. Gave me the run around till I gave up trying to get a refund. I'll never buy anything from their company again. Buyer beware!
