Works as advertised!
I bought this with tongue firmly in cheek, but was very pleasantly surprised at it's power!I have a 9 year old Mazda 2 (1.3) which I am not driving at the moment and, alas I've let the battery die... I was using an old 'Clarke' starter battery which is as big as a normal car battery and almost as heavy - so I thought I'd get something small enough to carry around with me on the motorbike, but which was good enough to start a car. This seemed to be the best power/price ratio that I could find at time of purchase, and it arrived relatively quickly. The carrying case is quite large (for bike travel anyway - it's probably fine for a car boot) so I leave the case and charger at home and just carry the battery and starter lead with me in one of those mini drybags.I charged it (to 100%) as soon as I got it and used it about a week later - after starting the car faultlessly first time - it had 89% left in it. I packed it away and forgot about it until I needed it again, 2-3 months later (which was last week) to start the car again and it did so, again faultlessly and still showed 65% charge left.At time of writing I haven't decided whether to charge it up again of see how long it lasts on a single charge, but 2 cold starts over 3 months with no recharging is impressive enough for me! This thing is about the size of two or three mobile phones stacked on top of each other. All the other bells and whistles are superfluous as for as I'm concerned, but I suppose they'll come in handy at some point. However, as a small, light (relatively) cheap replacement car starter it has performed as all of these gadgets should - quietly and competently, with the least amount of fuss.

Great selection of power outputs
I bought this mainly as a camping emergency light and starter. I got this with an offer that was on at the time.Fortunately, Ive not had to use the starter function yet. I like the selection of outputs 12v 19v and 2x USB.Flashlight and also emergency strobe (blue/red - press and hold the on off button)The 12v and 19v are next to each other which Im not so keen about since I think they could get confused so Ive labelled mine up with white tape to make it clear (the lettering is rather faint). Its quite a compact unit an comes with a zipper wallet containing evenry thing.Just a note re one of the other reviewers, If you switch the unit on then 4 blue lights show up and if the unit doesn't detect any current being drawn within a few seconds it will switch off.

It starts a car!
I work in the motor trade as a trade plate driver and I have cause to jump start cars on a fairly regular basis. I saw a friend use this product to start a car and I was quite frankly both amazed and surprised. Based on what I saw, I decided to buy the Pushidun jump starter. The product arrived and I fully charged it. A few days later I used it for the very first time to start a 2.0 litre diesel car with a completely flat battery. Once connected to the car battery, the light on the connector pack turned a solid green and on getting into the car, the instrument panel had lit up. I turned the key and the car didn't start initially. On turning the key a second time, the engine fired into life. I was to be honest a bit gobsmacked because I didn't actually believe it was going to start the car, but it did. It drained the power from the Pushidun from 100 percent to 74 percent, which considering the battery was completely flat and it started a 2.0 litre diesel engine, it was clearly up to the job. I'm really pleased I bought this Pushidun jump starter. It's small enough to carry in my day sack and it is also able to charge my mobile phone. In my job, this bit of kit is a must have.

Much better than the big bulky lead acid jump starters
Was a little skeptical when ordering this. Previously, I've brought those big yellow lead boxes that have a handle, built in compressor etc. So, I thought this was just too small to be able to take the load of a starter motor. But, I charged it to 100%, then hooked it up to my MX5 (2.0 Petrol) that was no longer turning over, just clicking and it turned over and started straight away.I was thinking it might not be up to it and so I might have to leave it for 15 mins to get some charge into the main battery, but no need :) After this, charge level showed 78%.I'm actually working in London at the moment, so using the train, not the car. So about 2 weeks later battery was flat again. Worked a treat the second time as well (not recharged the power back in-between).Strange thing is, it was now showing 80% charge. So I guess the battery recovers a bit when you leave it alone following a heavy load.Comes in a nice case to carry the bit etc. Small enough to leave in the boot and take on a trip.

The price is definitely justified for what you receive
I’ve just moved to a new city and my cars not the most reliable so when I have a flat battery I have no one to give me a jump start. This piece of kit is fantastic. So easy to use and does exactly what it says it will do. It’s surprisingly light for what it actually is which is a good thing in my book. It’s comes with all the accessories that you’ll need. A charger to actually charge the device and also a small set of jumper cables. It’s also comes in its own neat little case with everything tucked away very smartly. The first time I use it I was worried that I would do it wrong but it’s so straight forward that you can’t really go wrong and I had my car running in less than two minutes. I couldn’t be happier with it.I would definitely recommend this for anyone that has troubles with flat batteries and doesn’t always have someone at hand to give them a jump start.
