Just No
Don't buy these. I bought them in March 2019 and they were dead by May. They were used sparingly to fix the edge of a chipped or broken nail. Glass files are intended to last for a very long time - all you have to do dust them off, wash them from time to time, and pat dry. My last set was going strong for four years until my husband accidentally sat on and broke them (no injuries occurred). I purchased these in my hunt for replacements and was sincerely disappointed. The most important facet of glass files, is that they have this very fine grit that allows you to file your nails in both directions without any fear of breakage (that might sound crazy to thicker nail folks who might file in both directions regardless of file type and never thought about it, but for someone with thinner nails like mine, it's a game changer.) These files had a barely there grit that died like any regular emery board. It was almost like the grit was sprayed on, where good files actually have the grit etched into the glass. I never had any hope that the case would stay in tact - because my focus was the files - and they indeed fell apart. The glue that was holding the center silver colored piece quickly came undone, but as long as you didn't lose the silver piece, you could pop it back in and the cases were still usable to some degree. If you accidentally left the case and file a part of your bag that moved around at all, the case would pop open and the file would fall out - scraping you stuff with whatever grit was left. The fact that the cases held out longer than the files is really sad. Don't waste your money.**After these died, I gave Amazon another shot and tried another glass file set by the company "Mont Bleu". Those were everything that I was hoping for. They have variations - clear, colors, or colors with embellishments. Feel free to click on my name to check out my review of those files.**

Love!
I absolutely love glass nail files. I keep them in my work and daily bags. They can be disinfected! That's really the best part! They also don't seem to lose their gritty-ness, which is a problem with traditional files. I will buy again

The grit went missing! File a missing grit report!
They work ok the first time, but then you discover that they are turning back into smooth, clear glass. It's as if they glued the grit to the glass, and now it's falling off. I should have bought the real Czech ones. These don't list a country of origin, so you know where they definitely didn't make them. Hopefully, I wasn't breathing in glass particles while using them.

Not worth it
I was excited to use these, but they were a huge disappointment. My first time filing my nails took off whatever abrasive coating that was clearly sprayed on to these, and now they don't work at all. I wish I could return them, but I waited too long to do so. Save your money, but a different brand.

Not good quality
We have not even had these for a month and with light use the rough nail file texture is already falling off leaving bare spots of the hard plastic underneath

Smooth glass after a couple of uses
These are not real glass files. They wore down after just a couple of uses. I’m very disappointed and annoyed because the market for these things is so flooded with fakes it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s not. These, however, are not.

Not the best
I have had much better glass files. Also, arrived broken.
