Picnic Plus Tandoor 4 Person Deluxe Picnic Backpack

I bought this to take along a bunch of picnic goodies to outdoor concerts.The first one I received had a faulty zipper which would not allow the main compartment to close securely. Amazon credited my account back right away, I returned it and ordered another one.Aside from that, the quality of this backpack is very good. As others have stated, the flatware is not the highest of quality but good enough for picnics, concerts etc. I ordered both this backpack and the Picnic Time Malibu Insulated Picnic Pack for 2: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016HH31A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 After comparing the two, I ended up keeping the Tandoor instead because of the space. Even though I really only need it for two people, the space for food in the Picnic Time Malibu Pack was too tight. The Picnic Time Malibu Pack is a great pack if you plan on keeping the snacks to a minimum. If you plan on carrying a few sandwiches and other snacks or several tupperware containers, the Tandoor is the way to go. It has a lot of space but doesn't feel too bulky or hard to carry. I take out two of each of the flatware and the glasses and keep them as extras.The insulated thermal foil food compartment keeps food cold or a bucket of chicken hot! The separate detachable wine/beverage containers are great and can house a standard bottle of wine with a wine chiller wrapped around it. A well done backpack. We got two peppers and no salt shaker. Lucky I stopped using salt last week. May I suggest you put in a very light weight tablecloth to cover those yucky picnic tables, or to spread on the ground. Red and white checkered is traditional picnic fare.

While the backpack of this picnic pack seems good, the accessories inside are cheaply made. The silverware is sharp on the tips and edges, the wine glasses are just plastic, the napkins are like sandpaper, and the plates are the quality of the plates from cheap frozen dinners. I have already replaced the wine glasses and plates and napkins.One last thing, I purchased this because it had 2 wine bottle holders, but mine came with only one. Try to contact the seller on something like this! I couldn't even exchange it because they were out of stock. As of now, I haven't heard anything from the seller, so this is my review. Its basicall a very expensive school sized backpack!

Great product, manly enough that my husband will carry it but heavy if you put a bottle of wine in each side pocket along with food in the middle pocket.

Awesome picnic bag, boyfriend and I took it on an all day hike up a mountain and it held up nicely. It holds alot of food plus ice to keep it cold.

If taken care of I believe the bag itself would last. The items included are on the replacement side of my scale as in one of the pictures the bottle opener looked to be the best thing in the set and it broke/glue came unstuck as I opened the tools for the first time(for this review). Would you make it through your first few camp/picnic trips with the stuff Included? YES! Would I replace some of the stuff with my own set? YES! Other than that the bag seems to be decent.

Items purchased from this particular part of the world often smell bad, (oily) but it makes it even tougher when the item is for carrying food.

I've owned several of these types of backpacks. They're a great way to carry all your snacks, wine, water, or whatever to a concert, play, kids sporting event, or even just a day out under a tree having lunch. This is by far the best one I've owned yet. Spacious, stylish, and so far very sturdy. Two wine bottle holders and four place settings mean you can use this for a larger group, or just have extras for you and your significant other. I could knock half a star off because it doesn't come with a blanket. But I'd be splitting hairs. I roll my blanket up and use a couple of velcro straps to hold it on the the top of the bag. Overall, a great bag.
