I have always preferred flavored coffees, organic. Therefore, I have no experience comparing non-flavored coffees. I chose this one because I was searching for less than a dark roast. My habit is to make cold brewed coffee, in which I fill 2 24 oz drinking jars with the finished product, honey, and half and half, and it is done for several days. So, yesterday when I drank it for the first time, I was VERY surprised to see that I had drank slightly over half of the jar! Hence, that constitutes my rating!!! It did have a "smooth" taste/feel from the first sip, and seeing the less than half full jar, without realizing it, proves it!

This is a great coffee. It's low acid and has a pleasant bold taste. I buy the beans and ground them myself and the fresh flavor is unbeatable. I buy my coffee predominately from Maverick. Bonus is when I order, I get a sample bag of a different flavor to try. Great coffee, fast shipping, what more can I ask for. I highly recommend!

The delivery was soooooo long but that’s with everything during corona. I love this coffee it’s better than anything else and they don’t even have to try to force advertise like other brands. If you get heart burn or have gerd or need something easy on the tummy THIS IS THE COFFEE midnight ride is the best flavor in my opinion and it make a flavorful COLD BREW get some!!

This is one of the best blends I have ever tried. It is very smooth, and has a great finish. I can tell a difference with the lower acidity that comes from their roasting process and it really makes a difference. When the package arrived, I the aroma permeated the package and my kitchen. Their decaf blend for Midnight Ride is excellent as well.

Small, Family Owned outfit making amazing dark roast LOW ACID ORGANIC Coffee. I make "bulletproof" every morning with fresh whole bean coffee grounded up and french press it , blend the coffee with ghee butter, brain octane oil, Himalayan pink salt and collagen peptides , when doing this you need a dark rich coffee to shine through and still give you that coffee taste, THIS MAVERICK IS SIMPLY THE BEST FOR IT. I had to come give some credit to these folks bc they have a wonderful product, thanks!

Incredibly flavor as well as low acid! I've been drinking Peets coffee for 30 years but they have nothing that tastes as good as this coffee which I make in my expresso machine for my daily cup.

I enjoyed and was pleased with the first package I bought. But the second package is almost unpalatable. Very off flavor - sad as I was happy to have a low acid coffee. For the cost I'll probably not I'll try another pound.
