At first I was happy with this purchase. Bright, white and LED energy efficient to replace extractor hood lights. Worked well until it doesn’t. I can’t remember how many hours it claimed to work. It would a fraction of 30,000hrs (guessing). It has been only switched on during cooking, at most generously 3hrs a day, 365 days. I doubt it lasted 1000hrs in total - probably worse than filament bulb.Similar story about other LED bulbs I had purchased in the past. Maybe I will just buy better branded stuff from now on, although a bit more money. People say when you buy cheap you buy twice, it’s starting to make sense for sure with these LEDs.

These bulbs are well priced, compact, efficient and very bright but don't last as long as I would have expected them to, plus five must be bought to replace just one or two when they fail. Originally bought five for our kitchen light around a year ago and they worked fine until a couple of months ago when one started flickering badly. I unscrewed the bulb a little to make it less annoying and continued using the light fitting with just four bulbs until very recently when another bulb started to flicker too. I looked again on Amazon for replacements and found the original product listing but it was only sold in lots of five. Bought another five and now have a bright light again but hope that this isn't going to be a recurring annual purchase - it then becomes less attractive as a low cost lighting option!

Reviews indicate quite a few do not work but bought anyway, to find none worked! Investigated and noticed they wobble in fitting so not making the best connection. When you compare to normal E14 the metal end is shorter and they wobble in socket which can be a problem as power connector is at the end and side, if you screw in tight and moving around they work, but this poor contact could make this an intermittent problem. Other E14 I tried all fit snuggly.Hope this helps as perhaps some of those classed as broken are just down to poor connections after installing.Amended feedback to 4* after joey offered a refund for not being happy with purchase, more than I expected so much appreciated.

Unfortunately, the first bulb that I extracted (with difficulty) from the packaging failed to work in the cooker hood despite being fitted correctly.Also, the same bulb only worked in one of a matching pair of lamps with E14 fittings.The remaining four bulbs all worked as they should in the three locations.As the packaging was trashed by that time, and the 'faulty' bulb may be of use in the lamp where it did work, I am happy to keep them, particularly as they are really nice bulbs providing a wonderfully bright, white light.UPDATEDespite stating that I was happy to keep the bulbs as they were, Hiled messaged on Friday to say they would replace the 'faulty' bulb, and the package arrived on Monday. Much appreciated customer care. Will seek to buy from them in future.

The thing that immediately struck me was how bright the bulbs were. I use these bulbs in wall lights in my hall, the only natural light source being a small window above my front door. I frequently have to have the lights on. As to efficiency, I have no idea how I can possibly judge that. Obviously they are 7W bulbs so don't use much power. Longevity? I've only had them for a matter of weeks. Ask me again in 5 or 10 years.

These are ideal as replacement bulbs in a cooker hood as they give a very bright light. Alas, the first one out of the packet didn't work. That was very disappointing.The other 4 were fine and easy to fit. As such, I really couldn't be bothered to go through the Amazon returns rigmarole.Anyway, I hope the remaining bulbs actually last well. Time will tell....UPDATE: I have changed my rating to 4 stars as unsolicited, the seller sent me 2 replacement bulbs - presumably on the basis of this review. A nice touch much appreciated 😊.
