This product fitted my Dyson perfectly. Took ages to fit it though, would of expected the spring to be sold with it

Replacement V6 motorised foot catch. Fits perfectly on the wand. Mega easy to fit.

Long serving Dyson handheld, and the lever switch stars popping off. The spring is good, and seated firmly stays put, then one day I lose the blighter entirely.I figure maybe there's a spare?So there is - and this is it. I fitted and works exactly as it should, and better than before, which it should as the old one had a broken lug so didn't stay put.This does, and so in turn does the nozzle or extension I attach.Not the most inexpensive small piece of molded plastic I have bought, but without it the Dyson was not much use at all - so a worthwhile purchase.

After reading the reviews on this product, it seemed the biggest issue was that it is difficult to fit. I took that into consideration and when it arrived I offered it up to fit and found it was almost impossible without potentially breaking it. After filing about 1/2 mm off one side, I put the longer side in first and used a screw driver to gently lever the other side while pushing it into place, it clicked in perferctly and all in all it took about 3 minutes to do. Overall it is easy to fit once filed, the only downfall is the price for what it is.

Fit for purpose. Working well so far.

Wife was a bit brutal with the old Dyson so needed a new button. This sorted it. Perfect fit.

8 weeks and it broke original lasted 7 years

I have bought this clip, because the original one broke and fell off of our Dyson V6. It was hard to use it, since you had to hold the extension with one hand and vacuum cleaner with another. It was not that easy to put it on the vacuum cleaner again. You need to press pretty good to place it in. Maybe a job for a men in a household. And you need to be careful to not press to much, since you could break it again. Hopefully this one will last longer as the first one. The only downside of this part is the pricing. For such a small piece I find it a bit expensive, especially if I consider how quickly the original one broke and fell off.
