I have really embraced cooking in the sous vide in the last year or so, and vacuum seal bags are an absolute must. However, not all of the sealer rolls are created equal. I have now tried a few varieties and have to say this brand is the best so far. Firstly, the plastic is thick enough to allow you to cut the precise size needed to encase your product. Some can be too thin and move during cutting so you get an uneven edge, or cut the wrong size for whatever you are packaging. Here's a summary of my thoughts: - GOOD POINTS ------------------ 1. Value for money as you can cut the precise amount needed. 2. The bevelled side makes for good removal of air from the vacuumed seal bag. 3. Good thickness of the plastic making the bags very solid for storage and cooking . 4. Great for use when pre-seasoning foods before cooking, as perfectly marinates meats etc. 5. Can be used in the fridge, freezer, sous vide, boiling, steaming etc. 6. It's BPA-Free!!! BAD POINTS --------------- NONE as yet! CONCLUSION ---------------- I would definitely recommend this brand for vacuum sealer rolls as this is the best type that I have used thus far. I have already re-ordered just in case Amazon gets low on stock, but I am still on my first roll. I do not re-use the bags once made, but I can see this is possible given the strength of them. Just in case you wondered - I have cooked all sorts in these bags from ribeye steaks, fillet steak, roast beef joints, duck breasts, racks of pork ribs and more. The taste and tenderness is great,. even when cooking foods for shorter periods. However, the product withstands slow cooking too. I have cooked racks of ribs for 18 hours with no breakage and a perfect end product too.

Two rolls of 30 x 600cm rolls of vacuum sealer bags. Being a continuous roll, I am able to make bags for the size of what is being vacuum sealed. Being rolls, they take up less space... and bags are made to size only when needed. I freeze fresh home grown herbs in bags cut, sealed about 5cm. The longest I have made a bag is 60cm. This length is for inserting frames with honey from Beehives. It is able to be vacuum sealed, can be placed in a freezer, or saved for next season for bee food to human food at any time. Well stored honey can last forever... a very long time. Excellent, exceptional value for money as only making bags for the size required. When buy premade bags, much is wasted if it is only a chicken, duck, turkey breast or two for the sous vide cooking process. Bags made with enough room for the meat, the herbs, the spices, etc, a little head room, and a little room to fit in the seal unit. I often go through at least one roll each month.

These bags work wellies use then for my 3D printer fillement. They seal well with no issues. I know its not what they are designed for but if they can seal round these then they will would will on food as well.

DO NOT BUY THESE ROLLS what a rip off, there are no in cardboard cores in these rolls therefore they will not sit right in your vacuum machine and cause you problems when your working. DO NOT BUY THESE ROLLS. byer beware....

Die Vakuumrollen von Bonsenkitchen haben mich voll überzeugt. Die Folie ist sehr stabil, reißfest und lässt sich problemlos auf die gewünschte Länge zuschneiden. Das Vakuumieren funktioniert einwandfrei – die Nähte sind dicht und halten zuverlässig, auch bei feuchten Lebensmitteln. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass die Rollen BPA-frei sind und sich sowohl zum Einfrieren als auch für Sous-Vide-Garen eignen. Ich habe sie bereits mehrfach bei höheren Temperaturen verwendet, ohne dass sich die Qualität verändert hat. Auch nach dem Einfrieren bleiben die Beutel stabil und schützen die Lebensmittel optimal vor Gefrierbrand. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top, und die Länge der Rollen reicht wirklich lange. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die regelmäßig vakuumieren und Wert auf Qualität legen!
