Simpkins Barley Sugar Travel Sweets 3 pack

These are slightly sweet and exactly what I remember. I happened upon a little British tea shop years ago and discovered these, but haven't been able to find them until now. After re-ordering them again, I know exactly where I'll be coming back to. These are perfect for everything from a sore throat to quenching a sweet tooth, but aren't the sickeningly sweet that most of us Americans are used to. Simply perfect.

These are traditional UK 'driving sweets' - come in a small tin to keep in the car, especially for longer journeys. These are hard round sucking 'candy' about 1/3" in diameter...so none of the 30secs chew & then they are gone like for soft sweets. Put 2 in mouth at a time and grind them together to release their subtle taste over 10-15mins - none of the 'in your face taste' for 10 secs like sour patch kids!Enjoy the flavour!

These are tasty, but a little lemony for me. I was hoping for a milder taste. They did come fast and, if lemon is more your thing, these would be great.

I had to try these because I love Call The Midwives - my husband surprised me with these and they are actually really good. My grandkids come through the door asking for “THE SIMPKS” because that’s what is on the can!! 😂 Perfect to keep on you in case of a cough or dry mouth! Definitely will be purchasing more!!!!

This didn't taste like Barley Sugar at all. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save your money!

I was looking for barley sugar lollipops and I found stumbled on these. Although not exactly the same they are very tasty. I use them instead of a cough drop. I will be ordering again!
