Best one by far in the field.
Best one by far in the field. Easy to read and digest, with a lot of handy information and always oriented to take action. Would consider it a sort of handbook, especially useful if you start with VMO or you face the challenge to implement it from scratch in your company.

Best VMO book - simple but thorough
Stephen Guth goes through the fundamentals of Vendor Management with complete clarity. The book is quite short so it's a fast read, but I've read it many times and took notes over each section. I'd recommend this book to any VMO professional, especially for managers looking to restructure or begin to build their VMO.

Good book
I needed a book to expand my knowledge of vendor management and this gave a good overview of the Vendor Management Office. This book is for people who already have some knowledge because the author does not waste time in definitions or charts - it's right to the point and on target for VMO.

Great Resource for Beginners
Great resource, particularly for those that are newer to the field. It is a high level overview that provides insight both from a customer's standpoint and a vendor's standpoint.

Great "How To" with Rationale Attached
This is a great read for anyone interested in becoming a part of a VMO, improving a VMO, selling the business on the need for a VMO or working better with a VMO during the life of a contract.

Decent little read
As are many business books, this is written for someone with little to no knowledge in the area, in this case, strategic procurement. The VMO is a strategic procurement facilitation group owning the sourcing and vendor management processes. It`s a quick read though and aligns disparate concepts to focus on the specialization within an organization around the more strategic aspects of procurement, separate from the transactional aspects.Worth your time.
