i will buy it again
’m completely obsessed with this mineral sunscreen! Zinc oxide is the MVP here—it offers broad-spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays, which is exactly what my skin needs. I’ve tried so many sunscreens over the years, and I’ve always been wary of ones with harsh chemicals that irritate my skin. But this one? It’s totally different. The zinc oxide is gentle and soothing, so I don’t have to worry about redness or breakouts. What really stands out is how lightweight it feels—it absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue, which is so important to me since I have a combination skin type. And let’s talk about that white cast—thankfully, this sunscreen doesn’t leave any of that! It blends seamlessly, leaving my skin looking natural and glowing, not ghostly.I’ve also noticed that the anti-inflammatory properties of the zinc help calm any irritation or redness, especially after a long day in the sun. It’s like a little extra skincare boost, which I wasn’t expecting! The best part is that it's reef-safe and made with clean, sustainable ingredients. I love knowing that my sunscreen isn’t just good for my skin, but it’s also better for the environment. It's cruelty-free, too, which is a huge plus.I really appreciate how versatile this sunscreen is. Whether I’m at the beach, hiking, or just running errands, it gives me that reliable protection I need without the hassle. It’s truly a must-have in my daily routine. If you're looking for a mineral sunscreen that’s effective, gentle, and planet-friendly, this is it!

Gentle, Effective Sunscreen for Sensitive Baby Skin- Just Remember to Shake Well
I’ve been using this Babo Botanicals Mineral Sunscreen on my baby’s sensitive skin, and it works really well without causing irritation. The natural zinc oxide provides solid sun protection, and I love that it’s fragrance-free, water-resistant, and EWG verified, so I feel good about putting it on my little one.The lotion goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave a thick, chalky residue like some mineral sunscreens. It’s lightweight and absorbs fairly quickly, which is great for fidgety kids. One thing to note: if the bottle sits for a while and gets warm, the oil can separate, so be sure to give it a good shake before applying. That helps mix everything back together and keeps the sunscreen consistent.Overall, it’s a safe, effective option for babies and kids with sensitive skin, and I plan to keep using it all summer.

Better than harsh chemicals!
This mineral sunscreen is outstanding and comes with the added reassurance of being EWG-certified, which means it meets strict standards for health and environmental safety. Its formula provides effective sun protection using non-nano zinc oxide, making it a safer choice for both skin and the planet. It’s gentle, non-irritating, and ideal for sensitive skin, with no harmful chemicals or synthetic fragrances. The texture blends in well without leaving a white cast, and it wears comfortably throughout the day. If you’re looking for a reliable, eco-conscious sunscreen option, this one is a fantastic choice you can feel good about using for your baby!

Best kids sunscreen
Our favorite sunscreen for the kids. Spreads in well and is gentle on my son’s eczema prone skin. The last batch we got separated a bit which was unusual for us, but otherwise we’ve been able to use this easily with both kids. We love using a makeup brush for easy application and our kids never complain when they’re wearing Babo sunscreen. We’ve purchased this time and again. Only wish it was a bit cheaper and they sold bigger bottles.

Eczema prone skin APPROVED! 👍
Yes, we do use shade and protective clothes at first place. My daughter’s eczema can vary from mild form, when skin looks dry and flaky, to severe form, when skin can be extremely irritated and red. Our dermatologist isn’t recommending using sunscreen for her, but there are situations when it’s better to use sunscreen than use nothing. Since her skin is more vulnerable to the sun’s damaging rays it was a challenge finding sunscreen that’ll work for her.Babo Botanicals was recommended to me in AT community. I tested it before use for allergic reaction such as rash, any form of breakout on the skin, itchiness, etc. So far so good! 🙏PROS:It is SPF 50, which is perfect, and fragrance free. It’s non irritating, hypoallergenic sunscreen with mineral based ingredients. It doesn’t dry out skin, applies easily. I’d say even moisturizes and soothes! I usually apply it on top of Mustela Stelatopia balm.CONS:I wish the texture was lighter and not so greasy, you have to heavily wash it off your skin with soap. It is advertised as sheer, but still leaves white sticky layer on the skin and doesn’t provide weightless feel. It also stained our stroller, cleaning up with soap didn’t remove the stains. One more flaw - it’s not alcohol free.BOTTOM LINE:This is a good sunscreen, and it does what it’s supposed to do. It will keep your little one safe from the sun’s harmful UV rays. It can be used on baby's sensitive skin and eczema prone skin (in our case). This baby zinc sunscreen is free of fragrance & irritating chemicals. Despite the flaws, I’m very happy that it worked for us! And I would definitely recommend to give it a try, but for sure test it before use.I hope my review was helpful.

Works but separates and smells like sunflower seeds
I wonder if this uses nano zinc oxide. There is no white cast. It’s a bit oily like all zinc oxide ones but this one I could work with. Protected our baby’s skin under Sedona sun without a burn. I did reapply frequently. Annoyingly it kept separating into gross thin liquid so I kept shaking it to mix. Not sure if normal, old, or a bad batch. Husband did not like sunflower seed smell.

Clean & Effective
This sunscreen uses only non-nano zinc oxide as the active ingredient, and nourishing aloe as the primary inactive ingredient, yes, yes, yes! It goes on smoothly and does not leave white residue. I wear it under makeup-- over my entire face, including eyelids and lips, and have never had it run into my eyes.
