Golden Filly Collection 2

I LOVED this book. I bought the first Collection Books years ago and never picked it up. One day I started reading it and could not put it down. After finishing it I purchased The Collection two and couldn't put it down either. They were the first books I read from Lauraine Snelling and she made me enjoy reading again. This book has a great story line and she conveys the mood very well (when sad stuff happened I was bawling my eyes out). I really enjoyed the plot twist at the end and looking back I can see where she foreshadowed. I thought it kinda ended at a weird place, I kept flipping through the book searching for another chapter. I hope she plans on making more books in this series. Have a great day!

I enjoyed this book very much. It is fanciful and a little unbelievable but I purchased it for a very special niece who rides Nd shows horses, owns horses and loves this type of literature. She is a young Christian with strong principles who has won many blue ribbons. I always like to know what I am giving to beautiful young readers, so I read it first. She was very pleased with the book and enjoyed reading the entire series. I would heartily recommend it to young readers and older alike who love horses and their riders.

Bought Collection 1 as Christmas gift for my granddaughter & she fell in love with it, so I found Collection 2 & surprised her with it as a end of school year gift. Being a fast reader, it's already completed it, says it's as fun read as Collection 1. It's a great series for any girl who is a lover of horses.

My daughter tore through collection 1; this collection has been more about the major life changes and troubles that the main character is having, so a little less fun for her to read. Overall, she has been engaged with these enough to even want to be reading while eating breakfast and riding to school! This only happens when she has a good book - she is 10.

Read Golden Filly Collection 1 before you read 2. If you like horses you will really enjoy reading the adventures of a young girl and her special way with horses. Lauraine Snelling is one of my favorite authors. Read Break Away for information and a really good story on handicapped riders and how it benefits them. I also ride and I am in a wheelchair. It can be done!

I think this book was amazing, how they believe even in the hard times, these collections are awesome. Loved them!

I thoroughly enjoyed both Golden Filly collections. Hated to see them end. Wish the stories continued after graduation. I felt there could have been more. I really enjoy all of this author's books.

As a horse lover this collection hooked me. I found the collection 1 by accident but I searched out the second on Amazon.I got it for a great price and even though it was used it was in fantastic condition. A++

Loved this book. It ends the story but it is so touching that I cried several times. I would recommend it to anyone.
