Great concept but it's hard to keep it in baby's mouth long enough to get a reading. My baby loves pacifiers, any shape he's not picky but he doesn't like this one so I have to hold it in his mouth and it takes a while for it to get the reading by which time he's really mad and wants it out.

IT WORKED JUST AS I HAD HOPED! I bought this product just in time. We were able to get a reading when we first suspected a slight temperature. Therefore we were able to start an acetaminophen regiment until we knew we couldn't control it. Emergency room and hospitalization followed.I even used it to monitor me 10 month old grandbaby's temp until Mom could get here from work. When her temperature started to rise it played a little tune. Even though Mom did inform me that it was not intended to be used that way and that it had become cloudy/wet inside, this product continued to work just fine. It was a comfort to baby, parents and grand parents during a VERY scary period this winter.I would absolutely recommend this to all parents, grandparents and/or baby setters.

Bought as a gift for my grandson on the way. Haven't used yet but they were happy with it.

Wonderful product. I bought one when my daughter was born 17 years ago. It will still come on after all this time.

I wanted to love this thermometer, but it never seemed accurate. It consistently read below body temperature, and then the battery died after about a month or so. I bought a temporal thermometer for $30 and it works much better and is faster too!

Piece of junk - first one arrived and I hand washed per instructions... Very gingerly I might add. Water got into the device and it broke. Called the seller and they sent s replacement free of charge (excellent customer service). Hand washed the second unit per instructions and the exact same thing happened. I never even had a chance to give it a test run. This product is advertised as waterproof and is far from it. Don't waste your money!

Sadly this was a great product till it stopped working several months laterI intend to change the batteries, but we did not have it for very long or many times before it stopped working. Due to how little we got to use it batteries would not be my first guess. I just want to be thorough. If batteries fix the issue then I will increase my rating. As it stands it was a good product for roughly 2 months, then it wasn't.

The product is probably great, but our boy doesn't seem to love pacifiers, especially when he's sick. We assessed our intended end user poorly.
