Very nice looking product. Works well and is easy to hang. When used in a small enclosed space, like a bath, it throws a lot of light. Much brighter than a nightlight. Sensors on mine are not too sensitive. I have to be within 2-3 feet to get these to come on (coming at them from the side since these are in a hallway), where other products I've used come on at a greater distance. The light did not go off after I turned a brighter overhead light on, so these are timed. The downward facing leds are good for lighting up stairs. Would definitely buy these again.

Awesome product! Mounted on my basement stairwell, using the hardware included (screws & anchors). Very well lit, used 4 lights. Range is perfect, they turn on well before you get to the stairs, guess is around 6 feet. Stay on for 30 seconds or so. Kudos to the seller, had one light with defective motion sensor, got a replacement in two days! Using Eneloop Pro rechargable batteries, two months now, lights still as bright as day one.

The one that worked works great. I bought a set and one of them did not have the coil spring for battery replacement when it arrived. So I would hesitate in recommending them to my friends.Update:Doris from Hallomall US Online contacted me and offered to replace the defective unit. The company made this offer even though I had not contacted them about a replacement. I will recommend this unit and this company.My replacement arrived today and works great. Hallomall US Online went out of their way to make my purchase a good one.

Update: After checking comments and instructions regarding the proper method for opening the unit, I find it much easier to change the batteries!! The housing slides upwards and out without problems. As I had a slanted overhang/ceiling near the housing, I lowered my lights by an inch or so to provide enough clearance. The design works properly.Great lights. Very stylish. They are excellent motion detectors that stay on long enough to reach your destination safely (perfect for staircases). The units generate a natural, white light. There is one flaw in the design if you use the double sided adhesive tabs. It is hard to change the batteries without removing the whole unit. This can damage your paint or pull the base drywall. Perhaps the product could be redesigned to allow access to the battery holder via the side instead of the back of the unit? Four 1/2 stars.

These lights are perfect for our front entry. We do not have a light in the entry and needed something decorative and functional. It has been there now for a month and is still working great. The sensor sees anyone coming into the house or leaving and turns on right away. The light stays on longer than we need it to but it does give us plenty of time to turn on other lights in another room when we need it. The light is still bright after a month and the batteries do not need replacing as of yet. I have it on the highest setting for energy use.The double sided tape that was supplied is very strong and so I did not use the screws because they were not needed. To change the batteries, when we need to, I lifted the light part up and off of the base. The base easily stayed attached to the wall which surprised me. When I replaced the light back onto the base it went back down smoothly. It was not difficult to line it up at all.I would suggest that, if you use the double sided tape, that you make sure that is where you want that light to be placed.I have purchased other products from Hollomall and all of them have been high in quality and durability. I trust this company.

Love these stick-on or screw-on sensor lights! I first installed two on my dad's stairway so we adult kids (during our visits) would not break our necks getting down the slippery, steep stairs to go to the bathroom in the dark of night. I did my due diligence in the placement of them (before adhering them on the wall) so that they came on at the right time as you start your descent and to have the other one come on as you reach the bottom of the stairs. My whole family wondered how we ever did without them!! Then I purchased two more a few months later for my own stairway. One lights up a little distance before I get to it, then when I round the corner to the next set of stairs, the next one lights up. They stay lit approximately 10-15 seconds and then they go off (on the auto setting). They have 3 settings: off, on, or auto. I leave mine on auto. The LED lights are surprisingly bright coming out of two little holes at the bottom of the light and have a pretty wide spread as well as the front. They take 4 AA batteries and probably last a year - this may depend on how much they activate. It's time to replace the batteries when they don't function properly, go on and off, or don't light up, etc. To boot, they look nicer than you would think! I had to go through a mental process figuring out how to light up my dad's stairway the easiest and most economical way, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with these sensor lights.

Didn't really know what to expect but based on the reviews we decided to try these in a hall and closet. They are well constructed and offer two options for mounting. Included double sided pads or wall anchors with screws. They are plenty bright for a small closet. We used two in a laundry cabinet (one on each side) and it light up the entire cabinet with only two. For the price you can't beat it. We got the brushed aluminum finish and it looks like brushed nickel which is what we hoped for. Wasn't overly shiny or too dull, just right. The sensors work wellnor you can have it always on or turn off completely . Ours were all placed about shoulder height and work without issue. If I had to guess brightness is about 350-500 lumens.
