The media could not be loaded.  A favorite of a high-energy foster fail who beats the pulp out of toys. This one has lost an antenna (the toy, that is, not the cat) but all legs remain firmly attached. Part of the appeal may be the long white tag that I left attached. Sometimes it gets carried around by the tag rather than any other wee bug part. Also, mouth feel might be a factor: The material has a suede texture. Finally, it's attached to a stick and a wire, so I can play with the kitty.When that's not happening, he grabs it from his toy box and trucks around the house with it -- bug, wire, stick and all.

I got this for my cat Butter. The day it came I tossed it to him & he wouldn't let it out of his sight. If I approached him when he had Bug, he would grab it & take him to another room. He loves it. This is a very good quality item. Perfect size. He grabs the little legs & tosses it around. I'm very happy with it & Butter the cat is ecstatic.

I have only just received this product, so I cannot comment on durability. I was disappointed upon opening it because in the pictures it had a slight sheen that looked like the material would be shinier and more beetle like. The one I got is very matte but otherwise it looks good. Happily, out cat was very interested in it.

We bought this to go with our Jackson Galaxy fishing pole toy, and it's extremely popular. We let it marinate in a catnip tin for a while before we introduced it, which helps. One of our cats held it and rubbed it on his face - hard - for a long time. The little legs twitch and move when you drag it, which is lots of fun for our beasties.

The toy looks well made but my cats are not remotely interested. My Bengal in particular is what Jackson Galaxy calls a “bush dweller” and likes to stalk prey on the ground. His favorite toys are the catnip-stuffed banana/rainbow so I thought this was perfect for him, but he shows zero interest.

I am always skeptical of cat toys, because my cat is so picky. But, for the first time in ages, my lazy old ball of fluff actually played with a toy! She really likes this, and so I'm pretty pleased with it. It says on the package it has catnip, but I'm not sure where. It seems like just regular polyester fill, and doesn't smelly very catnip-like to my nose. But, in the end, if kitty is happy, then that's what counts.

Gets picked it up once or twice for maybe just a second or two, and then that was pretty much it! I don’t believe they picked it up one time since then. It’s just a dust collector now. I would advise getting some of the other Jackson galaxy toys such as the Jackson galaxy play balls and the birds on the string thingies. Our cats are huge fans of those toys

My cats love the wiggly legs on this toy. They chase it and play with it interactively. Eventually they managed to lose the last one, but because they got so much use out of it I am happy to buy a replacement.

Lifelike toys really stimulate hunting skills and save our local wildlife. Our cats live in a netted yard so they can go outside our house and we know that they are safe. So it is great to offer other games that can be a substitute to satisfy their hunting instincts.
