The lights themselves work well and are attractive, although of very light gage material requiring some care in handling to avoid damage. The mounting hardware is very substandard and won't work as supplied without substantial reworking. The bracket that connects the light to a wall or picture frame is poorly executed: the tangs which grip the arched tube carrying the light have to be re-bent to fit the tube, and the tang that is intended for the thumbscrew that anchors the tube was not properly threaded to accept the shoddy thumbscrew provided. I had to reposition the tangs and retap them to accept a better quality 8-32 thumb screw that I had to buy from a local hardware store. My experience with all threaded fasteners produced in China is that they are totally unsatisfactory and display no evidence of quality control or adherence to any ASTM or similar standard. This product, being manufactured in China, regrettably follows that pattern. Once the issues with the mounting hardware were addressed, the light functioned as advertised and gave the appearance of a well finished product. The electrical components seemed reasonably well made and worked well. The light itself illuminates oil/acrylic art well, but I wouldn't recommend it for art under glass as it creates reflectance issues. All in all, an attractive product that could benefit from a bit more design development and a lot more attention to quality controls. Note: We are an art gallery and are using this product in a commercial application. We will be purchasing more of these as we expand, and hope the issues noted will be corrected on future models.

One of the LED lights was not connected, had to unassemble and put it back together, quality of the product is questionable

Love the light - simple, clean design and excellent value. I put it over my foyer mirror and leave it on 24/7 as a nightlight. The correct specs are two 2 watt bulbs at 140 lumens each = 280 lumens total. This is equivalent to a 25 watt incandescent bulb. The instructions state the color temperature as 3300 +/- 200 degrees Kelvin, so it’s a bit bluer than 2700 K incandescents. I checked specs on many sites before figuring this all out. Amazon, you’re losing sales with these errors!

I thought that this picture light would really do what I needed it to do--but it doesn't. The light itself projects so far out from the picture (or wall) that the LED bulbs are reflected at the top of my picture, even with non-reflective glass. Even with the option to adjust the angle of the lights, I couldn't find a way to prevent the reflection. Mounting it on the wall wouldn't have helped. The only way that this light would have worked was if the frame was very wide so that the position of the light could be adjusted up high enough to prevent the reflection. The mounting bracket is useful because you can mount the light to the back of the picture frame at the top or on the wall. The light is well made and the finish is nice.

Looks good so far - just put up on bookcases a couple days ago - like the way they look!

Awful picture light. It gives off a flourescent light which is not what you want when trying to showcase art. Purchased from Eager House and will never go through this seller again due to their 20% "restocking" fee.
