Is this cream suitable for young people (mid-20’s)? Also, as mentioned in a number of reviews, when used as a night cream, do you wash it off first?

Yes this is suitable for young people. Totally safe. I recommend it for all skin types...  I'm licensed in Cosmetology and I love this product so much. I use it on my son. I initially got this for him a few years ago because he has a brown complexion and he needed something that would moisturize and and give his skin a fresh glow that would last so he wouldn't end up looking dull. I finally found something that worked all day for him and this was it, and my son loves it. He was 11 at the time, and at 13 I still use it for him on a regular basis.  This particular product  (shea butter with olive leaf) is thick but don't let that fool you.  its very healing. not uncomfortable on the face at all...its like a treatment, yet feels very clean... it worked so good for My son I tried it... My skin is fair...very different than my son...so for myself I use the shea butter with olive leaf a few times a week at night. You can't really apply makeup over it unless u use a tiny bit...however on days I don't wear makeup I do use it. On days I apply makeup I use a lighter moisturizer. The whole line is just great. Wash your face, then tone to bring your skin back to the ph balance it needs, and moisturize, don't forget your neck!  After I use this at night i wake up and my skin looks, and feels so good. I will tell you this I was sceptical at first. I had never used a moisturizer like this for myself. It's very different but after I tried it... gave it a chance to do the work, I loved it because I saw results. I use many things in the line. It's top notch holistic organic skin care. I will never go back to non plant based skin care.  Check out the website. It's pretty impressive but most of all this stuff is great. It healed the age spots around my temple area. Why are the ingredients not listed here?  it is only by chance that someone mentioned it contained ylang ylang, which i am allergic to.

It heals, and brings your skin back to life. It's very wonderful, and I personally can't live without it. I use this at night, and on my days off when Im home, because this is not something you can use under makeup, that's why I refer to this as more of a treatment, however you can use it everyday if you like. It is heavy, which can be deceiving at first, but give it a fair shot because  your skin actually can breathe, and it does not cause any breakouts. You can use this under your eyes, and eye lids, as well as your lips, and your neck. There is no moisturizer on the market that you can use on your face as well as safely under your eyes, lids, and lips, because the skin on these  area's is very thin, and different than the skin on your face.  The Whipped Shea Butter with Olive Leaf does it all, and you get a lot of product for your money because alittle goes a long way.  I can't say enough wonderful things about this product, and people have given me a lot of compliments on my skin, because it makes such a huge difference. I've never found anything that works so well, and with outstanding noticeable  results.     During the day I use Rose Vetiver Day moisturizer, so if the Olive Leaf ends up not working because of an allergy, I would try Rose Vetiver. My husband and I use them both, as well as my son. I love this whole line, and will forever use plant based skin products on my face. The wild carrot eye balm from this line is also awesome. If you get the Rose Vitiver, don't use it on your under eyes or your lids.  Use the wild carrot Nourishing eye balm from this line... it can also be used on your lips, just like chapstick, except it's not plastic. Regular chapstick is like putting plastic on your lips. The carrot stick comes in a big tube, so it lasts a long time, and it's worth every penny. You'll only need to replace about every 3 months...PCC natural markets carry the line. That's where I found it, and if you have one in your area, it's easy to return if something does not work. One last thing, in the winter when my feet feel dry, I use my facial products on them at night. Works wonderful. Good luck! I really think you'll like these.
