Best book I've found for learning Rainbow Loom
This is the most helpful book I found for learning basic looming tricks and techniques. It includes a section on basic skills, with clear color photos and easy-to-follow text. The projects are organized into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, with beautiful close-up photos of the finished patterns. For me, the most helpful thing is that it has clear diagrams showing you the exact order and direction to put the bands on the loom, and the exact order and direction to loop them. The 50 patterns focus mainly on bracelets, but some fun rings and charms are included. For those of us who like visual tutorials, the book also includes QR codes that take you to the Rainbow Loom website tutorials.

THE BEST RAINBOW LOOM GUIDE PUBLISHED!!!!
Between the 5 books on how to make bracelets and other things with the Rainbow Loom, this one is the BEST!!!! I have now made every thing in that book and found it to be easy to follow. I love how the templates are there to show you what order to place the rubber bands on the loom, and also what order to loop the bands. I have found a couple of mistakes in the book that should have been caught before the book went to print, but they aren't big enough mistakes that you can't do the design. Also, I have noticed that my son, who is 12, seems to be able to follow the directions in this book better than the other books we have. I noticed where it says this book is Volume 1. I hope that means they are going to making a Volume 2. If they do, I hope it gets published very quickly. I'm ready to try new projects.

Nice Book!
If you're looking for a rubberband bracelet pattern book, this is the one to buy. It has detailed instructions for just about every bracelet out there from the most basic to the advanced. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. They even teach you how to read a pattern. And you don't need a smartphone to use the book. I've made three bracelets already and haven't tried to read the codes to find the videos yet.I have seen a couple of the videos, so if you can use the codes to find them they are also very clear and easy to follow.I had a chance to glance through other books before buying and I'm very glad I bought this one. Not because of instruction issues, but because this is the most complete book out there for the bracelets. I highly recommend this book!

Nice book
This is a great book for making rubber band bracelets. It has lots of patterns and colored pictures of all the finished bracelets. Lots of hints, too. Another nice thing is the barcode that you can scan and actually see the bracelet instructions on the Internet. I have already purchased a second book for one of my granddaughters for a Christmas gift. Probably good for kids 8 and up. Younger kids may need a little help with some of the diagrams.

Must have for your beginner to advanced Loomers
This book is amazing, gave us so many great ideas for something out of the ordinary. If your kids are into this the way mine were, you run out of ideas fast, so this is a great stepping tool. The book is very organized from beginner to very advanced. Instructions are very easy to read, and my 6 year old can follow them fairly well on her own, once i get her started. Even if your child doesn't read, the pictures show you numerically the steps needed, so again, with only a little supervision, they catch on pretty quick. I also love the fact that it is spiral bound! You can lay it flat on the table or floor as you work and see both pages. Color pictures also help immensely. Great book for your loomer!

Great Book for beginners
My 6 year old daughter just started doing looms and I wanted to get her a reference and instruction book for her. This is well done, Starting with the basics and building off of the basics. Also goes to explain one strategy on organizing what bands and in what order for different colors. This has helped her a lot. She's going from one bracelet to the next in order. The book breaks the bracelets into 3 types: beginner, intermediate and advance. They have pictures of each project in the front and a fold out template guide in the back as one method for organizing your project.Spiral bound is great as the book stays flat while working.2 suggestions, have a kindle edition and have the pictures shown at the beginning of each project vs. all of them in the front.Great book for beginners. My 6 year old can understand this book.

Very worthwhile purchase if you want to keep your kids busy looming!
I'm surprised there are so few reviews for this book, which made me a bit skeptical, but I'm sure glad I purchased it....errrr...I mean, my 8 year old daughter is sure glad we got it! Easy to use guide that is handy & portable so I'm not constantly needing to surrender my phone/computer so my kids can watch Rainbow Loom youtube videos. Definitely a worthwhile purchase since it shows a lot of different styles to create in a simple format. Highly recommend!

Great way to get started!
Since you don't really get any patterns with the loom kits this is a great way to get started. I love the simple directions for each pattern and that they start with beginner patterns. As you grasp those you can advance to intermediate and advanced patterns. I especially like that you can go to You Tube and see videos of each item made step by step from start thru finish. Very easy for anyone to follow....from children to adults. From there you can even find other patterns to try. Very well done. I'd recommend it to anyone just starting out. I think the directions would apply to most looms, not just the Rainbow Loom.
