Not exactly what I thought
By the description and images I thought I was buying a set of 3 tins, one pink, one black and one blue. I didn’t realise that it was 6 single cartridges in an old tin.Sadly delivery took an age and the packaging had no protection at all, just the old used looking tins placed in a bag. As you can see the tins are damaged, unusable as the lids can no longer go back on once off and seeing as the tins do not match the colours it was very confusing at first glance.I would not recommend this item especially if it was a gift for someone. Kind of looks like I got this from a charity shop.

slightly confusing
I love these inks and have only bought single colours before. It is quite hard to work out which colour is which as they arrive muddled together. I think I have them almost sorted but it would be helpful, sold in this way, for them to be marked in some way.

They come all muddled up?
I only received three tins and had sort through them to find the individual colors... all the cartridges were present but I don't understand why they are not separated and marked? confusing.

not quite as expected
Probably should have done the arithmetic, but it was still disappointing to just get a jumble of odd cartridges in three spoiled tins.

Best range of colours
I love the colour range of Herbin inks and the ink is superb for writing with. I use them with Caran d ‘Ache and Kaweco Sport fountain pens that I own. They don’t fit all pens ... notably Lamy which is other favourite pen .I haven’t yet found a use for the little tins them come in, but they are very decorative
