Big and great for tents
We got sick of trying to fit our tent in the flimsy bag that it came in, so wanted something big: the largest sized duffle bag, 50 inches long? Yes, please! It works great and we can store the tent and poles and stakes easily in one bag without trying to re-fold the tent twenty times, if you know what I mean. We can fold the tent or crumple it up and throw the poles and stakes in, put the four holes through the pin, clip the strap in and we're good to go.It makes us wonder why we didn't think of this or figure this out years ago. Call us stubborn. The bag itself is a medium-weight canvas material. The fabric and seams are built to last. The 30x50 size fits a six-person nylon tent easily (the 42 might've also worked, but we wanted to err on the side of having plenty of room, and we're glad that we went big). The shoulder strap is not padded, so I wouldn't want to carry the bag too far. Also, it's a single shoulder strap and single handle. (You would probably want a different duffel bag with two padded shoulder straps if you're doing any sort of hiking or portaging with it.)As a bonus, the coyote brown color is nice and seems to fit the camping theme well.

Bought this to make a custom heavy bag for boxing training
I wanted a good quality duffle bag for building a heavy bag for boxing training. This is what I was looking for. A good quality canvas duffel bag that is brand new. Not a used world war duffle bag. I like the idea of having different patterns to choose from. Black, green, digital camo, blue etc. Those color options really are perfect for whatever options you need. The canvas itself is some thick material. It was in a clear plastic bag on my porch. Just the bag was heafty. I loaded this bag with probably 55 pounds of clothes. I cut off the buttons and zippers for safety reasons. I jumped on the bag, kicked it, beat it with a bat. At 55 pounds the bag is still less than half full. I would trust this bag for the military or bug out after what I did to it.

Fantastic value for money
Purchased two of these for my kids to go to sleep away camp. Nothing is better than a large bag that can stuff 4 weeks worth of clothes, items, sunblock, bathing suits and everything in between inside. These large heavy duty canvas bags are inexpensive, are fairly durable and should out live their usefulness year after year. carrying them is an art, once full, you need to sling the large strap over your shoulder and hold the handle with the same hand the shoulder strap is over. point the bottom of the bag in front of you as you walk so you can balance the 60-70 pound load on your arm.In terms of quality its pretty well made, i've seen some of the reviews here complaining about broken grommets although I did not experience this, I feel the hardware could be a bit more durable or made of a more resilient metal/plastic.All in all for under $30 you are getting one hell of a bargain. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

More than Perfect!
Just got my bag so this is my initial review, I may update it in time. (I got the 30"x50" black bag)Overall I am happy with it. It is very heavy duty, perfect for the size and easy to fold up. When flat it measures 29 and 1/4 inches by 50 exactly. Not much of a difference, still a huge nice bag. I also got it the first day it was expected and according to USPS it would not get here until tomorrow so that's nice. I am hoping to use it for my blankets, Memory foam, winter coat, jackets and pillows if I can squeeze them in to make it easier to carry when I move back into my dorm. It smells a little weird but that might just be because it is new (not a bad smell). The stitching seems nice inside and out. The there are 4 rings on top and a little metal loop that I am assuming goes through all the holes and then you hook the strap onto it to close it up. It is super nice! I might have to get another one just for my clothes or for storage! I highly recommend this item. Metal rings and hook looks and feels great!. This bag is more than perfect!

Very Sturdy
This duffle bag is made from that tough, thick canvas material. Perfect for carrying heavy loads - even stuff with edges and corners like boxes and tools. The shoulder strap and the handle make it pretty easy to carry. I've used this type of duffle bag to carry softball equipment, camping gear, photography tripods and stands, and clothes.

Great bag, but largest size is now too large if you want to stay below weight limit.
I bought the largest one of these back in the days when you could have heavier luggage. As it turns out, nowadays you pretty much surpass the weight limit if you fill up the larger version. I don't fly with mine anymore, but I've used it during moves and it was still useful. The biggest advantage for me was that it weighed nothing, so when I moved overseas I could get more of what I needed moved. A suitcase usually weighs 13 pounds all by itself--this large bag weighs only about 5, so you can pack an extra 8 pounds, and you people who move a lot know how important that becomes the night before your flight.Definitely sturdy enough, but consider adding a TSA-approved lock. I flew without one. Everything went well, but it made me nervous.

Great for camping
When I car camp, I have lots of long awkward bundles that I hate loading into the car and out to the camp site (tent, sleeping pads, chair, etc.). They all fit great in this duffle bag and let me grab in one trip what could have taken several. I also just leave it packed so I am ready to go. The bag is decent quality, and I'm pleased with it for the price.
