I definitely recommend this book
I've just began to play the guitar and I have to say, for a novice, this book is an essential piece for beginners. It covers simple terminology that will aid in familiarizing one's self with features of the guitar, as well as how they function. I definitely recommend this book.

Good book
Right out of the box, I was able to start some basic finger style. I really haven't goteen too far into the book, since it got me going so fast. But it's well written and easy to follow.

Great book
I've been learning to play guitar and this is the first fingerstyle lesson book I've used. I love it. It's clear and straightforward. Also the spiral binding makes lay flat and holds the book together well.

Very understandable, fun and satisfying
I'd recommend this to any beginner trying to get started with finger style. I also really benefited from the "Guitar for Absolute Beginner" published by the same school, "New York City Guitar School".

Good book.
Good book for beginners and a little more advanced players. I am not new to guitar and I found this book informative without being boring.
