We haven't tried this under water yet, but from what we can tell it will keep the device dry. We appreciate the neck strap and have used it to carry my son's Ipod around his neck while he is riding on his bike. Much better secured than in his pocket.I only gave this 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1. It is difficult to open on each side. As a 40 something woman I had trouble snapping the sides around and have had to find alternative means to get it open. Even my 12 year old son has difficulty. Not useful for someone with arthritis in their hands (which I don't so I can't imagine the difficulty they would face). 2. It did not fit my son's IPOD 5 with the simple case on it. If he wants to use this pouch, he must remove his case first which isn't always easy. And, the more times he removes the case, the more likely it is to be damaged since it is just a silicone case that is already worn from use in several spots. I also tried to fit my Samsung Galaxy 5 (with a case) in this, but it didn't fit. It does not say that it would which is why I wouldn't deduct additional stars, but I wanted to point that out in case anyone was wondering if it could. My s4 fits in this case perfectly with no obstruction of the camera, etc. by the borders and is fully functional inside the bag with no noticeable decrease in touch sensitivity. I put the phone in the bag with the music playing and there was barely a perceptible difference in volume. I'm not sure how much the pocket feature of the phone had to do with that, but clearly this bag will not hamper my musical enjoyment. The bag materials seem to be of very good quality as is the lanyard which has a quick-release clip (probably so you can take a quick "selfie" if it's around your neck?) The closure has a tongue-in-groove design which interlocks as the bag is clamped shut. HOT TIP: I find the clamps open much easier from the ends where you will find a fingernail groove which pops the clamp open quite easily rather than trying to pry the back of the clamps out as it seems to indicate in the instructions. When closing the bag make sure you push the clamp arm toward you from the back of the bag and it will swivel into the locked position very easily. You can tell this product is made with careful attention to detail in design and materials. It comes with some literature about the product, and I conducted the paper test per the instructions and the bag passes with flying colors. I am happy to say this product seems to deserves the 5 star rating it enjoys on amazon.

This case is AWESOME! We were on our way to Hawaii and needed a case that would allow us to fit our phone, credit cards, and rental car keys. We purchased this little beauty and were very pleasantly surprised! It exceeded our expectations and was a life saver! We used this when we headed out to snorkel to ensure we did not leave any valuables in the car. We took pictures and video under water and even captured sound! The plastic is flexible enough to allow you to punch the buttons while your phone is in it. It was a bit hard to swim with it just around our neck but the strap is long enough to allow you to put one arm through it if needed - which is what my husband did. I loved this product so much that I am writing my first review on Amazon! Thank you for making this product as well as making it affordable!

This item came in handy for my most recent beach vacation. I was able to fit two cell phones in it at one point, plus a little cash. I felt safer using my phone at the beach and the pool while it was in the case. The pictures I took while the phone was in the case were surprisingly better quality than I expected. The only reason I gave it four stars is at one point the strap came undone (not sure how) but I managed to get it put back together to be able to wear it around my neck.

The case is bigger than the picture so it fits all phone types even if not on list. I have a lg gs and it fit fine, i love this product but i blew some air in it so it would be easier to press buttons. Really hard to press under water but great to take videos and screenshot at later times! Great underwater protection and fun to use. Love the strap, can adjust for around neck or wrist. Really long and can be unclipped.

It has kept water out so far, however, it gets smudged very easily. It is also not incredibly easy to press the button through the plastic to take pictures. I have an iPhone 6 plus and it can only be put in the case one way or else the camera is obstructed by the black outer part. If you are only looking to keep water out I would recommend, however, if you want to take pictures, this may not be the best case for you.

Yes, I have exceptionally large lady hands, and this case is even bigger than them!I would recommend measuring out the product dimensions on a piece of paper and asking yourself if you want to cart this giant case around.As for me, I need to be able to stow it away in my hip pouch and take it out with ease.This size just seems like a production.On the hunt for a more compact option.

Works as described, kept my phone dry during a crazy storm at a music festival.My only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is that the strap pulled out from the clamp on the one side and the phone bag fell down off my neck. So I had to tie a knot as a quick fix. I ordered two, and this only occurred with one of the phone bags.
