Excellent Replacement for Horrible Belkn Cables
I purchased a couple of these as a potential repalcement for a black belkin cable that is known for breaking within a week of ownership. Thankfully I have had zero issues with these. The Good;-Nice black finish. The cable itself if matte while the connectors are glossy-While it has a brand name written on the plugs it doesn't look like the amazon basics one-IT DOESN'T BREAK (so far about three months in)-The lightning side is small enough to fit where original apple cables. This personally DOES fit my Incipio waterproof caseThe bad;-The connectors themselves can scratch a bit. But nothing major.I will happily buy again

Works Great...UPDATE 5/22: but then dies for no reason
Works great and I didn't have to buy the Apple product. I hate that Apple created a non-universal cable and then charge a fortune for them. RIP Steve Jobs, your company is going to follow soon enough without you at the helm.*UPDATE* This product worked great from day one until 5/22/2014, when it just stopped charging for no reason. We had it in a charging station, so it was not ever moved and couldn't have been damaged and the exterior looks perfect still. It just doesn't charge the iPad anymore. Tried the plug with a different lightning cable and it works great, so we know it's the cord. I have an email into Odoyo to see if they will replace. I will update this review if they offer a replacement. Otherwise, I would recommend going with a different brand whose track record for length of use is better.

Kink-resistant but connector failed
Great cable, kinks less than my Apple cable. Connector is slightly larger than Apple cable but fits my iPhone and iPad cases fine.Update: I bought two. After three months of being plugged and unplugged twice a day, the shell of the connector on one cable came loose and caused failure.

Stopped working!
UPDATE: The seller contacted me after seeing my 1 star review and said I must have a defective cable and sent me a new one, no charge. So far, so good. I raised my review to 3 stars based on customer service alone and if it continues to work good beyond 30 days will raise it again. I'm more impressed by how companies react to problems then whether or not they have problems.Original: This cable worked great for charging my iPhone 5 with iOs 7 for about 32 days, then I tried to sync my iPhone with my computer, got a "usb not recognized" notice and it has never worked again since then, for charging or syncing, on either an apple charger or a computer. I mainly blame Apple for this since they started blocking third party cables with iOS 7. I really hate Apple.

Nice cable, iOS 7 safe.
Use this in my car to connect my iPhone 5S, works, and charges just fine. Priced nicely, well constructed, and a generous length. Everything I was looking for.

Buy this cable
This is a great 3rd party lightning cable. It is certified and well made but like all thin cables - if you store it with love it will last a long time. This cable is so well made and affordable (for an apple product accessory) that I bought two - one for now and one as a backup.

bought 3. all 3 failed within 3 months.
this was the second try at non-branded lightning cables. the first was substantially cheaper and all failed within a couple of weeks. they were apparently not, compatible. the odoyo items worked well out of the box. Unfortunately, all failed in one way or another over the course of 3 months. 1. no visible kinks--just failed to convey a charge or allow sync-ing. 2. housing on the lightning interface broke off. 3. simply stopped working either plugged into computer or wall charger.very disappointed. I paid what I consider a premium for these, and have nothing to show.

Died within 1 month of usage
I've been looking for a quality black cable to match my iPod, saw the good reviews and took a chance on this cable. (The Amazon Basics black cable is a bit larger around the plastic housing, I didn't want that) It looks real sleek, no plastic seams like you see on the apple cables, decent cable thickness, and just overall a very nice quality looking cable. Writing does smudge off rather quickly, but that doesn't really matter. Connectors fit snuggly and don't seem to break easily. Everything is also seal tight. The reason I gave this cable two starts is because it quit working shortly after I bought it. June 17th is when it was purchased. I was out searching for a new cable in the middle of July. It simply quit working with normal usage, plugging it into my iPod nightly to charge it. The cable didn't move around, it didn't bend and twist about. Never went in a pocket or any other place to be held, it was stationary. No reason for a seemingly quality cable to go bad when it's being cared for. I may have just received a bad pick-of-the-lot.
