I gave a poor review earlier, and this is my update. Unfortunately, the tools are on the very bottom of the package, and easy to miss. I did. I didn't flip the package over because that would have flipped the screen and tools out. FLIP IT OVER. That's where the tools are. I thought the tools were omitted on my purchase. I WAS WRONG! So up the stars. I would also like to suggest going to the OFFICIAL! Official iPhone 7 Plus Display Assembly Replacement Guide by- iCracked.com on YOUTUBE.com. This is the ONLY site that gives sufficient instructions and cautions that will enable you to take the phone apart and put the new screen on properly, without a risk of damaging things. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO gasket included in this kit. There is nothing included to seal the screen back to the motherboard again. So, you will have to be much more careful regarding water and dampness following screen replacement.

Successful replacement.The tools they include in this package is enough for all the screws inside the phone. No necessary parts missing at all. Some people prefer having the screen seal but I don't think it's necessary. The only thing you would lose is a little bit water resistance. But would you really bring your phone under the water? Besides, if you don't use the screen seal, it will be much easier for you to open up your iPhone if you need to swap up something else. It didn't bother me.I didn't follow the instructions that's included. I used iFixit guide instead. You will need to disassemble the Touch ID module (1), front camera and ear piece (2), and the panel that goes behind the screen (3) yourself. This part might take you a little bit longer but if you have all the screws labels then you should not have any problems putting all the parts back together.Be really careful with all the BTB connectors and don't force them. Use your fingers and you should feel when two BTB clicks.For $30 and 1 hour work, you get a new screen for your phone if you have patience.

Con highlights: finicky touch screen, speaker no longer works.so the instructions are, for the most part, very easy to follow. its just very meticulous. i love they have pictures with each instructions so you know exactly what you're supposed to be doing. however, pics are in black and white so they are helpful like 85% of the time because the pieces are so small without contrasting colors its hard to see. screen does have a different color display, not bad, just different- colors are more vibrant, so i like it.I have used it for about 2 weeks, the touch screen sticks sometimes- pressing a letter one time will produce three letters, not every time but enough that i notice. Also i have to press harder or lighter in some aspects to scroll, its a little finicky.also now my speaker does not work. i have tried three time to re-align it to make sure it all lines up and idk what else to do but now it doesn't work i can't hear anything from the regular speaker, so all calls are on speaker or i need to make sure i have headphones with me. this is either because i put it together wrong or the screen backings do not align properly for the connection to be made.

Overall, impressed. Just got the package in the mail and installed the screen (and a new battery, as it was getting hot. Might as well fix two things at the same time!)I don't think I need to say much more, as there are a ton of reviews.I do want to say, the magnetic map w/ the screws was great and sped up the process. Honestly, I didn't notice the magnetic map or screen protector when reviewing what was included.To note:- The instruction manual was on the small side... and I have good eyesight.- Be careful when working on Step 7>A2, to remove the front-facing camera cable. Just as when you need to heat up the home button in Step 8, heat up the cable area, or just make sure you dig under that section in the red square in A2, or else you'll detach the two pieces (like I accidentally did) at that point.Everything seems to still be working!

I found that replacing the screen was pretty easy. I'm surprised how useful the magnetic screw holder was. I did have issues with the phone not booting up after the installation. It only boots up if the phone was opened up. So something is messing up the proximity sensor I think (the screen itself)? But I can overlook that try my best to not let the phone battery die or else I have to open it back up to boot it up.Recently the phone took a turn for the worst and it got dropped again (with a case, etc.). The screen shatter/cracked and the touchscreen is no longer responsive. On my previous cracked screen from apple, the touch screen would still work. I reached out to the seller and was told lifetime warranty doesn't cover man-made damages which is understandable. No incentive to keep a loyal customer so I'm in the market for another screen.Overall, screen is ok but I would look else where.

With so many replacement screens to choose from, I picked this based on positive reviews and I'm glad I did. I was able to successfully complete the new screen install and everything worked. The kit is amazing and includes everything you need to be successful. I really liked the magnetic screw sheet. That really helped. The instruction booklet was very helpful. Although it started out great, it got less descriptive half way through the installation. Also the pictures are small and hard to see. I recommend you watch a few video on YouTube. I had one up during the install and would pause at each step. It was almost like have someone next to me helping me out. You just have to go slow, be patient and allow plenty of time. Overall, a great product. Purchase it and you'll be glad you did.
