This shoe gets better with age. I take them to get polished maybe once every other month and they're better than new. Absolutely love these -- this is my 2nd purchase.

Fair Trade Style
Comfortable shoes that fit well for my size 10D feet. Soft leather and cushy soles. Retro style. I replaced the insoles with a pair of Superfeet blue insoles and they fit great. Nice to support a fair trade company trying to make a difference in Africa.

These shoes are my absolute favorite. After breaking them in for a week they are super comfortable. They are extremely lightweight due to the thin sole. The shoe leather is of high quality and very thick. It has just the right amount of pliability vs stiffness. These are casual shoes and not dress shoes. You'll start to see some age patina on the leather pretty quickly once you start wearing them. This is a feature and not a defect. It's due to how the leather is tanned. It's meant to wear naturally and develop character as you wear it. I throw these on with a pair of jeans any time I want to be comfortable and look like a grownup.

A great shoe
Out of the box, a little off in fit, but got it wet, wore it for a day and it molded to my feet. Now three days later one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Like the style and fit
Like the style and fit. Would prefer more arch cushion. The weave of the shoe strings makes them harder to stay tied. Would prefer a bit mor red brown.
