My collection is complete. Took some time getting to me, but worth the wait!

I Love you Janet. Great album, and it sounds just as good, as when I bought the cassette back in the day.....

Control CD is great music

Let me start by saying I'm a huge Janet Jackson fan of her music & acting :-) I remember when this album came out way back in '86 its quite a treat in a half to say the very least! I had this on cassesette but my player broke so I had to RE-purchase it on cd most recently.This album(CD)is 1 of 2 great ones that Janet put out next to Rythem Nation1816.This album let the world know that she maybe Michael's younger sister but she has a voice of her very own & NOW is the time to express it because she's in Control :-).There are so many Great songs to listen to but my favs: Control,The Pleasure Principle,Nasty & Let's wait awhile.If your new to Janet Jacksons music ur in for a real treat & if ur a fan then U know how gr8 this album is already.Don't think BUY IT well worth every penny spent on it :-) -D.M. This album isn't the easiest to find, so I'm glad I was able to locate a copy. I decided to buy it after seeing the recent Janet Jackson documentary on TV and remembering some of her great songs. This CD does not disappoint, with hits like "Nasty" and "What Have You Done for Me Lately." While Janet is more fun to watch on video because of her dance routines, just listening to her music is still enjoyable.

After being in the shadows of her brothers and especially Michael in the 70's and early to mid-80's this album was the change in Janet's life and carreer, working for the first time with producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, making this her first classic album. All of her albums from '86 to 2001 came in at number one at the Billboard charts. Hits on this album include What Have You Done For Me Lately, Nasty and many others.

This CD is a classic that will never get old!!! The song 'Control' is my all-time favorite because it reminds me of how to break free from too many people 'controlling' me and for the first time in my life I am in complete 'Control' of my life!!! 'What Have You Done For Me Lately' is another favorite song of mine and it reminded me of my late ex-boyfriend who never did anything for me!!! 'You Can Be Mine' is a good song about wanting to be with someone special; 'The Pleasure Principle' was a good song to dance to but I felt both the song and video didn't make any sense to me whatsoever!!! 'When I Think Of You' is another song I loved because, again, it reminded me of being in love with that special someone and never stop thinking of that person! 'He Doesn't Know I'm Alive' is a good song that, once again, reminded me of my ex-boyfriend who didn't care about me!!! 'Let's Wait Awhile' is a very beautiful love song that I can definitely relate to about being intimate with that special someone/relationship moving too fast; 'Funny How Time Flies' ('When You're Having Fun') was another good song and it's a song that everyone can relate to. I have been looking for the CD forever and now I have it in my CD collection!!!

Arrived on time, great for the car.Love this old Janet album which to me is one of the best that she recorded.

"Control" è un bellissimo album di Janet Jackson. Le canzoni sono tutte ben note, con alcune perle assolute come "Control", "The Pleasure Principle","When I Think of You", "Nasty", "Funny How Time Flies". Un disco immortale, secondo me inferiore solo a "Janet".
