Bought 3 of these to light up several areas for over-wintering succulents. Intention was to put on an external timer as opposed to using the built in functionality. However, found that once power is cut to the unit, it will not power back on when power is restored without pressing the power button on the unit. Using the built-in 6H timer works, it's just not what I intended to do. Light given off seems adequate for my needs. Definitely a better option than trying to rig up some method of suspending bar lights over my plants. I'm using 1 unit for every 36" of shelving.

Love this clip light! I bought this for my variegated monstera and I love how I can move the light heads around and in the plant for maximum exposure!! Timer function works great!!

The light has been great so far, no complaints. I like the settings on the light.

It is low voltage so it doesn’t make my plants too hot and the light itself doesn’t get hot. It has a timer to set so it goes on for a set amount of hours each day, and it clips to any table of mine. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get started. I’m incredibly happy with this product.
