Problem Solver !!!
The light over my stove went out months ago. An electrician came over, and said I would have to take apart the whole overhead extraction system in order to access where the lamp housing was in order to figure out how/with what to replace it with... Major, expensive, complicated problem. Until I came upon these pucks... what a life saver.I bought heavier duty velcro, since these were going to be over my stove area.I bought a rechargeable battery kit from Amazon, so when batteries need replacing, I don't have to buy new ones ( 9 AA's ).My Favorite feature is the Timer. When I turn them on, I usually set them for 30 minutes, and don't have to worry about having to turn them off if I finish in the kitchen and go off to do something else.I put velcro inside one of the cabinet doors, and that's where I keep the remote control, so I know where it is at all times. The colorful lights are nice & funky, but so far, what I use is White. The Dimmer is an excellent feature also.If the remote ever stops working, for whatever reason, it's good that you can still turn the pucks on by pressing them manually.Highly recommend EVERY single feature.

Yes! A busy indicator light
My workshop aka laboratory is in the basement and some things like drawing with wax and pouring soap require extreme concentration. At time like this if my husband comes down and says "hey honey" I will jump and startle often messing up what I'm working on. Usually I'm just tooling around and it's not an issue but now I have a way to let him know instead of a text that he might not see. Enter the Energizer puck lights with remote control. I put one light upstairs by the basement door and the other two are opposite ends of the shop - as a reminder to me that they are on and on what status. I just did a test this evening and I can turn all three lights on at the same time with the remote. Excellent!! There's three color buttons on the remote and white. So when you first turn them on they are white and at the brightest setting. Then you can select red, green or blue. If you want you can also blend the colors say select red and then select blue on the remote and you get purple. You can change the shade by selecting either of the colors. So I will probably use red for - I'm busy don't come down and green for - I'm working but you can come see me. I saw another reviewer say that he used his as an on the air / recording light indicator much the same way. The lights run on 3 AAs each and I will have to see how long they last in use. I probably won't be using it every day - just on the weekends and holidays when I'm working down there. I will have to edit when I have a run time estimate. You can also dim the brightness with the remote and I'm sure that would save some power. I thought it was nice that inside the battery compartment there were screws and some velcro to mount the lights.I wish I had these when I was doing backstage work and stage management. The red would be especially useful in the dark behind sets and in the booth. Being small and dimmable is a plus in this case. With the remote option you could even use a single light as a cue light or to call 5 minutes in the dressing rooms if they aren't too far away. Testing will need to be done in the environment to see how far the remote signal can travel. I'm sure people can come up with a lot of cool used for these.

Eh they'll do....
These were bought to put around the house so I could turn them on when I'm in my office and on a phone call that I don't want someone just opening the door and starting talking as no one checks before hand. >:(They work well when the remote can actually get to them. They are all within 30ft but 2 are though a couple of walls. Those sometimes do not receive the remote signal. I have to move the remote around and click the buttons 3-4 times and even then they might not get the commands.

PERFECT "RECORDING" light warning system for a home studio!!
I looked endlessly for a "Recording", or "On Air" light for my home studio. I wanted it battery powered or "battery able" as I didn't want to wire in a light. I also wanted a remote as, again, don't want to hardwire a switch to turn it on/off. So many hours wasted....Until I found THESE!! WOW, this is possibly the absolute BEST solution I could have found!!It comes with 3 pucks. I use one pick in the living room, discretely on the mantle. I use the 2nd one above the door of the studio, and the 3rd one in my studio itself (reminder I have the lights on outside the studio). I set the color to red on all 3, made them as dim as they'd go (still pretty bright), and because the remote is RF, it turns all 3 of them on/off at the same time!It is absolutely perfect for my needs, let's my wife or guests know to not disturb/knock/text/etc as I'm recording (and when they're NOT on that they CAN knock, etc). The remote is strong and works every time. What a great deal, I can't believe my luck! 10/10, this product is fantastic!

Look great but they don’t last long and remote is annoying
I love these lights and have them all over the house. They’re beautiful and very calming when they switch between colors. The problem is they don’t last very long. Each puck requires 3 AA batteries and when you leave them on for hours at a time like we do, they die very quickly so replacing the batteries in them have become costly (we’ve actually switched to rechargeable batteries to save money). The other problem is the remote: it’s great that they can turn the lights on/off and change the color of the lights with the push of a button, but the single remote controls EVERY single puck light we’ve ever bought in the whole house, so if I just want them on in the living and not on in our bedroom, I have to manually turn them on or off to conserve battery power.

Handy remote and small size works perfect for a discrete on air light!
I bought this LED light set to use as an "on air" light when in virtual meetings or recording in my home office to let my family know that sound and disturbances should be kept to a minimum. I have one light mounted outside the door and the other on my desk to remind me that the lights are on. The remote is handy for quickly turning them on/off or even changing colors. I don't keep these on long periods of time, but it helps that they run on batteries and can be mounted anywhere.
