I needed a new set of walkie-talkies to help as backed up our fifth wheel. We had some that we use for long distances but the problem was we were often too close to use them. Tired of yelling to each other directions. I thought the next time it would be nice if we had a small intercom system. That still would not work because you would have to have it attached to the back of the RV. Then I happened to come across these neat little walkie-talkies. For a few dollars was all the cost and I said hey why not try it.They are simple, switching channels is done by colorcode. It's so easy that it's almost laughable how easy it is to use these. The sound is amazing. I had no problems at 150 feet and had clear clarity. We even took it to the other side of the house and close doors just to try out and was still crystal clear. I am not sure how they can sell these at the price they are as well as they work I'm sure kids love them but I was really amazed that they work this well. What's more is they are not cheap plastic and are pretty darn solid comparable to the ones you made by in a box store that our people would use for camping.I was very surprised on how well these work. And there's nothing I could say negative against them. They're small enough to fit in your pocket and not even know they're there. There seems sturdy enough that they would take a couple of impacts before breaking. There is nothing negative I could even say outside of maybe the fact that these are not rechargeable. But for the price asking for rechargeable battery systems for under $10 is asking a lot. I would rather have sturdy solid good communication, then having to worry about the batteries. For what were going to use them for they will be perfect. I cannot say enough abilities they are great walkie-talkies. Kids will love them. Because they're so easy to use. Adults will love them because they actually have good sound, and could be used for small projects around the home or campground. These never claimed to go out several miles and have you not tried it as such. But within 150 feet we had no loss, and no static.If you don't need these, by them. If you need them by a couple of them and have some fun. They are pretty amazing.I highly recommend them

I'd have to say I was extremely surprised with these! My son got $10 from the tooth fairy for his first tooth and he wanted to shop online. We came across these and he really wanted them so we ordered them. When they got here my first initial thought was, " They are so small!" I wasn't sure about how well they would work so I picked them up and instantly liked how they felt in my hand, they didnt feel how i expected them to just by the look of them. They actually feel very well put together and not like some crappy thing thrown together that will brake in 0.2 seconds, we put the 3AAA battery's (NOT INCLUDED) in them and turned them on.... Let me tell you, they work extremely well! There is three channels (blue,green,red) and you can tell which one is on what by a little light that lights up on the front. The voice reception is crystal clear and my kids absolutely love playing with them.

They did not last long, already broken and only had the 4 months. Won't be buying these again.
