It wont give you full aspect of islam but basic understanding of islam. good for anyone who doesn't believe in media but wants to learn and study and see for themselves if media is telling the truth about islam and muslims or its something way different then the perception is out there of islam. I would recommend this book for everyone who like to read and learn different culture and religion.

Nice introductory guide to Islam. Not interesting in some parts but solid in general.

I have been using this book for my introduction courses and it is very teacher and student friendly. It is also comprehensive and detail where necessary.

Great experience

This is an excellent teaching textbook that I use for my Introduction to Islam course. Students response positively to it as well. My only recommendation to the publishers is to improve the electronic supplemental materials that come with the textbook to cover a broader range of topics.

Standard textbook clear and informative, good balanced overview

I got this book really really fast with the shipping, in more than enough time to study it for my midterm, which was only 10 days after I ordered this. It feels really nice, and it's good quality. A lot cheaper than what my school sells it for too. Worth it! (After the first midterm, I still haven't opened it lol, so it might not have the best content)
