Worth it.
This game is worth your time and money. I have not found the load times to be an issue (I'm using an older xbox one with external seagate hard drive). The voice acting is suburb and graphics while not mind blowing, are solid. In addition, the game has great character customization and the combat is fun and easy to use (it offers turn based or continuous). I played the first Pillars, and this is a worthy continuation of a solid franchise. From a story perspective, while not essential, playing the original Pillars first adds a lot of context to some interactions in Pillars Deadfire.

GREAT game
If you like Isometric RPG's like Neverwinter Nights or Baldur's Gate this is a game for you. I own it on both PC and for the Xbox.
