S8500 Shine Therapy Straightener of Remington

I have been using an inexpensive no-brand straightener and was never satisfied with the result. This was more expensive, but it works very well. My thick, wavy hair glides through the straightener iron. I can get my hair done in 5 minutes, something I've never been able to do. It also has the advantage of having a dual use plug.

The media could not be loaded. Its a great product and i did my curls using this it come out so amazing! The only thing is if you don't have the universal adaptor you can’t use this in USA you need to get the universal adaptor first. But the product is great! I loved it

Why would the fact that this has a European plug not be in the description or the pictures?? I just one-clocked because I always buy Remington flat irons and this looks exactly like the one that just died on me. Now I’ve got to pack up and bring to the UPS store and order another one. Good thing I don’t have to leave the house for work!!

Firstly, upon opening the package, I noticed that the item appears to be second-hand as the box was already opened and the cord was loose.Secondly, the hair straightener does not lock securely and tends to pop open during use, causing inconvenience and danger.Lastly, I was surprised to find that even the instruction manual had been cut off, making it difficult to understand how to use the product. And it’s quite obvious that it’s an old item, not as stated as it’s a brand new item.I have already returned the product and waiting for the refund. It’s the first time to shop here, it’s quite disappointing indeed.

Be careful as this is not for US plugs. Has a massive converter in order to use it in the states. I still don’t see anything in title or description saying this. Bought in October for Christmas so I can spread cost through a couple of months and now my wife is stuck with this $65 monster plug.
