The BEST thing that's happened to me!! Better for the environment and EVEN BETTER for me
I usually never write reviews for products I buy even if they're good, but I decided that this really deserves one because of how AMAZING and LIFE CHANGING it is. First of all, to all the ladies who are on the fence because you're worried about the learning curve/fear of not being able to get it right: I had the same exact fear, but it is SO doable and worth it. I watched a couple YouTube videos on proper insertion and removal, which actually cut down my learning curve down to one week! I just finished my first period with the lunette cup, and the only regret I have is not getting this earlier. Absolutely zero leaks or sitting in uncomfortable moisteness and no fear of leaking while sleeping!! I literally forgot I was on my period sometimes. I have SO many wonderful things to say about this and recommend this to literally everyone who has periods. To summarize, PROS: -no leaks with proper insertion and timely emptying of cup (I wore a liner with the cup for the first couple times, and it did leak a TINY bit when it started to get full- but this helped me gauge how often I need to empty, and now I know when to change before it gets to that point. I have a medium flow and have to change around every 6 hours for the first two days (although I had no problem sleeping 8hrs with it in), and every 8ish hours on my lighter days. -saves the planet! It always grossed me out to think about all the bloody plastic waste that I put out into the world with every period -SO much better than tampons! Tampons used to give me cramps but I didn't get any with the cup--this also disrupts your natural chemistry and pH less because it is only collecting, not absorbing -painless even when inserting or removing during lighter flow (unlike tampons!!) -less PMS?? At least for me, it feels like I'm in a better mood than usual because my period isn't actively on my mind or causing me discomfort. TIPS: - make sure you're at home and never in a rush when you practice inserting and removing for the first couple times--it took me a while to remove it the first time because I panicked a bit--i was really glad I was at home and not in public!! -unless you know you have a really high cervix, probably trim the stem at least one section before inserting--the stem for this is kind of long -if you can't reach the cup for removal, flex your abdominal muscles like you're doing a #2 and it will slide down so that you can reach it. It sounds weird but IT REALLY WORKS. -look up different folds and try them! The c-fold wasn't the best for me, although that's the one all the manuels suggest And lastly, I am 20 years old and have never given birth, and the #1 model is working great so far. Hope this helps! This product has seriously revolutionized what it means to have a period: stress, anxiety, and worry free!

Great Product
*Warning this review is a bit graphic* Okay I feel like it is a feminine product I need to be 100% honest in every area. Firs off it is very flexible and I had no issues inserting or removing the cup. I watched reviews on various cups and read more and was a bit intimidated at first but once the packaged arrived and I played with it a bit in my hands it no longer was intimidating. I could tell that it suctioned properly just by feeling with my fingers. Yes you have to know a bit about your anatomy to know if this product is in right. Once I got use to how it is suppose to be inserted I was confident that it was suctioning properly. To break the suction I just had to pinch the bottom. Now I was using tampons before and removing them hurt because even though they were full my vaginal walls were dry so it would pretty much rip at them. This product does not dry out the walls of the vagina and it comes out quite easily once the suction is broke. If the suction isn't broke then the thing isn't moving. I have had no leakage but I do have to wear a liner as there is still blood on the walls of my vagina in-between uses. Even if it is just for cleaning the product and re-inserting. So for just very slight spots you do need a panty liner. When I mean slight I mean very light. Like one to two light spots. Only reason why you need them is to not ruin your panties. It wont stain through your jeans or skirt that is now light the spots are. Now this product is not for the squeamish. I hope I didn't run those people away yet from the graphic warning because those people need to know this. Unlike the tampon you don't throw this in the trash or wrap it in a napkin so you can't see it. You pour it out in the toilet and while there is still bits of menstrual fluid in it you wash it and clean it so it is sanitary. You can't get everything out by pouring it out. Also when I took it out it brought with it a string of menstrual gunk that was still not all the way bled out, so I had to wipe that away. I also had to really make sure the holes that are there for suction was clean too. So if you can't handle seeing blood or any bodily fluids this is not for you. So the pros: *Reusable *Quite sanitary as you don't have to keep any nasty stuff in the trash to smell and such *Easy to insert and remove *Isn't painful really. Removing was maybe a 1 at the entrance of the vagina as I have not had kids but it is nothing compared to removing tampons. *Small and easily stored *Can't feel it when it's in *No leaking *Can wear it longer than tampons *No real risk of TSS unlike tampons Cons: *You do have to touch trace amounts of your fluids to clean it, but to me that is not really a con but for some it might be. You could wear gloves though if needed lol Oh and btw today I wore it for 10 hours and it wasn't even half way full and this day is suppose to be one of my heaviest. I usually wore super tampons on my two heaviest days and I would go though quite a few during the day. Today I walked the dog about 3 miles, Kayaked, and carried heavy stuff up and down 5 flights of stairs. So you can be active with this thing and not worry about it. The day before that I ran some in the mountains. So no leaks or any issues for those who are active and wondering. I would recommend this product to others if: 1. They are not squeamish. 2. They know their anatomy or are willing to get use to it 3. They have had sex before(I could see this being an issue for a virgin who has an intact hymen)

I really wanted to like this but it just did not work for me. It leaked significantly each time I tried and the pressure was uncomfortable. I did try adjusting but to no avail. Was very tricky getting it in place and messy when it came out.

This.is.the.best! This is the first cup I ever bought, and it was perfect! Super easy to use, clean, and sanitize. It went in without a hitch, and I couldn't even feel it. No leaks either!! I was worried that the clear up might be stained or discolored, but so far it still looks brand new. I also bought the Lunette cleaner to use each day. I would recommend this to anyone with no/little sexual history and/or light flow.
