I recently completed a Tactical Combat Casualty Care / Stop the Bleed class and that motivated me to get more high quality Tourniquets. The Recon Medical tourniquet is super high quality in every respect and the best value I could find. I'll bet my life on that since I'm adding one to each IFAK, kit, carrier and sling.

Probably one of the best tourniquets I've used so far.The material has held up superbly well.The metal handle is perfect as I have a habit of snapping the plastic ones.The toung hole has been useless for me but maybe someone else out there might like it. Hasn't affected the quality of the tourniquet and doesn't get in the way.My only disappointment is that these are not approved to be used in the military.The company also offer cases for your tourniquets if that's something you want.

Never had to use one so far but I've done a lot of research for the right one and I've bought a couple different types! I like these a lot. Materials seem to be good quality. I feel the base plate could be thicker for rigidity but I believe it is still sturdy and will absolutely work when needed most from what I can tell! A bit on the pricy side compared to the cheaper brands with plastic windlass but I figured you get what you pay for and your life is worth more than a couple extra bucks

These TK's are an excellent value. I was specifically looking for tourniquets with a metal windlass. They are sturdy and will do what they are designed for. I am a retired EMT and member of my church's medical response team and I will be buying more of these for our trauma kits.

I was told about Recon tourniquets by a coworker of mine when going over equipment we carried as first responders. I originally bought a 2 pack to test them out in training. Compared directly to the CAT-5 this tourniquet does seem to be a lighter construction, but I recently used one in a casualty care training and applied it multiple times and in one case it stood up to around 15 minutes of active movement while applied to a leg. Im not sure if this would hold up for 12 to 24 hours, like I know the certified CAT-5 can, but I'm not in a position to stress test it like that at this time. Over all I carry these in my casualty kit and trust them to do the job. If I end up using them in the field I'll update my review. And if I replace them I think I'll get the Gen 4 version with the metal construction.

These are really good clones of the CAT-T 7 Gen, and well made.Furthermore, the price for this multi-pack is incredible.Everyone should have these in their cars, backpacks, etc.

Heard good things about Recon Medical so I had to get some for my plate carrier, in my Jeep and have at work just in case. The Tourniquet’s look like they’re made with quality materials and easy to use.

This 4pack is a great value for the price. These are top quality. I hope that I never have to use them but if I do I am confident they will work great.
