with the new MacBook and still being a student I need a USB port, apple decided to remove it so with this adapter I can now use it and its portable

SD Reader only reads one slot at the time (cannot use two cards simultaniously)
SD Card Reader will only read one card at the same time. giving 3 stars as the description says '2-1 card reader' somewhere (even tho it calls out two individual slots somewhere else in the description). Return cost almost same as devices, so keeping it as a souvenir.
