I mean, let's face it, this is not a pretty piece of furniture. But it has simple good look, and color is neutral, and the outlets and USB ports are handy if you're planning to plug this into an electrical source.The table is extremely simple to assemble.The stools were confusing at first. After an initial fail, I developed my own way of putting them together which is very simple. Set the stool cushion upside down on an elevated work surface so you don't kill your back. Put the 4 legs in the corners of the cushion framework, matching the letter label on the leg to the letter label on the corner of the stool cushion framework. Now go ahead and attach them with the hardware provided. This was the magic for me. Now you have some stability, and you can pop the 4 cross pieces into the holes provided. It will be obvious to you as you work that the 2 shorter cross pieces need to be parallel to each other. Same for the two longer ones. Each of these 4 cross pieces has two screw holes for attaching to the legs, which firms up the whole stool. You don't want these screw holes to be visible when the job is complete, so make sure the screw holes face in the right direction. That way, when the stool is set up right, they won't be seen.

Since the pandemic this table has provided a great desk for the Boys to share to do their Distant Learning from home. Provides a great quality wood, very sturdy and heavy. As well a nice designer look but not bulky, sleek and stylish. I will look to purchase a second one soon. The packaging was extremely well and properly packed. Definitely read the directions and the labeling on the parts, it took a little time but once I got into the groove it was very easy flow to put together. I would recommend a power drill rather than using the tool part provided (it can be done but will take longer). I will see if I am able to post a picture. SN: yes it has a strong wood smell but it will dissipate in maybe a week or so. If you like wood smells great if not no worries it doesn’t last.

Wanted to love this piece. But it was too big and too wobbly for the space we wanted it for. Also pretty sure that it said returns were allowed, but the catch is that you have to pay for shipping on the very heavy object. Won't be purchasing from them again.

Once it is put together this table is great, however; the act of putting it together is awful. The very first step has you trying to insert screws that go so far down in a hole you can't see them and you can't use a power screw driver. Dumbest first step ever. It caused a lot of frustration and anger. Once you get past that step everything else is a breeze. The table and stools look great and are a good deal for the money.

What can I say that the pictures doesn't. I purchased 2 of these for extra seating through the holidays & they were perfect. I know use them for my kids to provide a family electronic hub & charging stations for all the tablets. My kids love hanging out together with mom while face timing their friends! They have become the hot spot of our home, it's like being at a coffee house hanging out together. They look expensive, but weren't. They dont take up much space. The quality is what you would expect from High Dollar furnishings. We LOVE them!

Great value. One of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon. I was skeptical to buy because of some negative reviews. Is it a high end piece of furniture? No. Does it compare with entry level furniture stores like Ashley, Living Spaces and Bob’s. Most definitely. It’s sturdy and looks awesome. As far as the negative reviews about the smell. It does give off an odor from the glues and stains, but it was gone the next day. For the price, it’s a no brainer.

Other reviews talked about an odor. My table and chairs had the typical packaging smell but shortly after the smell wore off. It was not overbearing. I enjoy the table and chairs and have gotten compliments. It definitely enhanced the look of the living room and added a center point to social gatherings.
