The only reason I am not giving this dress five stars is because the belt comes unhooked in the front when I sit down, but I can probably tighten the clasps so that won't happen. I have been eyeing this dress online for almost a year and reading the reviews. I am 5'4, a size 16 or 1X, busty and thick waisted and have a hard time finding flattering clothes. This dress is AWESOME. Shows cleavage but not too much, creates a waist and is super comfortable. I bought some low heeled shoes to go with it (about 2 inches), but I think higher ones would be fine too. The dress might drag on the ground if you wear flats. This dress is constructed cleverly enough to create a waist if you don't have one, or emphasize a smaller waist. One thing - the material of the dress is a thick, tee-shirt like cotton. It's not shiny or fancy, but I think it will be completely appropriate for most events. I am wearing it on Valentine's Day to dinner. I think you could easily change the belt out if you wanted to, to create a different look. Overall very pleased. Flattering and comfortable, can't ask for more than that. I will consider purchasing additional colors. I got the pink to wear on Valentine's Day.

I needed a dress for my brother's wedding on the beach and decided to take a look online. I absolutely despise dress shopping and was nervous about ordering one online since at least 9 out of 10 dresses I try on, I usually end up hating. However, after reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and take a chance. I am so glad that I did. I love this dress! The fit is perfect, the material very light-weight (perfect for the summer), and the fit incredibly flattering which is a real testament as I do not say that lightly. I do have to wear a camisole underneath this as I am very busty (36k) and my bra was very clearly showing. Perhaps a plunge bra might work for this, but I have problems finding one in my size that fits well so I can't speak to that right now. However, a black cami underneath seems to fit with the color blocking so it works (you can just see the black slightly under the light pink, but not terribly noticeable). It's rare that I can find any dress that I don't need this for so this was more of an expectation than a surprise. The only real problem that I can see with this item is the dress I ordered for the wedding is the pink one to match the wedding colors, but now I really want one in blue and green (LOL). This is my second Funfash item, and I have been very pleased with their service so far. Shipping was super fast and easy--coming in earlier than expected which was a nice bonus.

I bought this dress fairly last minute for NYE. I followed the sizing chart in the details, but it was actually a bit large. If it weren't for the belt, it may have looked big as well, but the belt took it to a whole new level. When I got the dress and tried it on, it looked and felt amazing! Unfortuantely, during the shipping process, one of the hooks on the belt broke. I immedately wrote the seller (mind you, this was Saturday, 12/28 -- only three days before NYE!) and explained what had happened. He wrote back within a few hours, promising I would have the belt replaced and expedited in time for the big day. It arrived ON NYE and I was ecstatic! Not only was everything perfect, but they provided wonderful customer service for such a great product. It looked and felt amazing and my boyfriend was in love with it as well. I highly recommend this if you want something comfortable and very flattering for a perfect night!

it was my brother's engagement. i received the dress just before the engagement by few days . and suddenly i found it it is cotton... i screamed.. where is the receipt to return it back. but when i put it on.. i found it perfect fitting and i attended the engagement with it.. a lot of compliments i have received.. it is very nice and slims my body perfectly. go ahead if you want to appear smaller in size.

I ordered this dress for an upcoming cruise to Alaska and although it was delayed in shipping (not seller's fault), it arrived in plenty of time..5 days after ordering. Seller was very easy and nice to deal with when I panicked about delivery not arriving when post office "lost" it for a couple of days. The dress is made well and is long enough to touch the ground without shoes and I am 5'7. It came wrinkled through the shipping process, but I sprayed it with water and the wrinkles came right out which tells me it will travel very well. Overall, I am very pleased with this item and the seller.

This dress looks nothing like the picture in person. For the price, I expected this dress to be of a better material, not a t-shirt type material. Some reviews I've read say this dress is for going out. I consider it more of a hanging out at the beach or a backyard barbeque. The front is cut very low, so if you're an ample topped woman, you'll need a cami.

Fits beautifully. I'm 5'8" & wore 3" heels. Perfect length. Love the empire waist & belt. Comfortable, easy, just as described. I bought the pink/fuchsia. Might have to get the blue & green! Inexpensive & fabric is a knit but it looks beautiful & drapes well.

its a nice dress and good for the price.. I just feel like I'm wearing pajamas in it though.. not sure if its the material or just me but it is comfortable!
