I've tried several bowl scrapers, and this is the best. If you've never used a bowl scraper, you're missing out! No spatula or spoon can ever get batter or dough out of a bowl completely--all sorts of stuff is left in there. A good bowl scraper not only means not wasting batter/dough, but also avoiding throwing the leftovers down your drain, which will eventually clog your drain and cause plumbing problems. With this, absolutely everything comes out of the bowl. What's nice and makes it better than the others I've tried is the size--not too big and not too small; and the metal core with the flexible cover, so that it's stiff enough to handle but also soft enough to adhere to the roundish sides of a bowl. Just right.

This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets I own and I own a lot. It is such a simple basic thing that you would not think it is the kind of thing that anyone could be that thrilled with and I was very surprised myself when I purchased it. It just works so much better and faster than a good quality silicon spoon spatula (like Star Pac or Di ORO-which are both great) to clean a huge stainless bowl or my Robot Coupe food processor. If you cook a lot this is an essential item for your kitchen.

Flexible but strong. I use this for Oil Paint & cold wax medium. Works perfectly! Also great for collage & gel plate printing. I need a few more, so I can leave one with my oils & one with my gel printing! Far less expensive than the Catalyst Wedge and works as well.

I wondered how this would work for my Sourdough. It works great! It gets into the corners of my dish, and makes clean cuts when shaping two from one dough.

It does just what it is supposed to do. Seems sturdy and well made.

This has the great all purpose design that I like. But it is for lighter batter and such than my heavier sourdough needs. I wish i could get it in the same material as the orange nylon half moon shape that is limited to larger bowls. I do like the extra angle curves for the nooks and crannys, but the edges are to soft/plyable to work with a real dough. Just doesn't cut it.

I'm a baker, yes. But if you thought I was using this handy little bowl scraper for that, you'd be wrong. I have large soapstone sink that I love and hate. The hate part is when it's time to clean it. Food matter collects in the corner and doesn't always adhere to water and gravity and has to be coaxed to the drain. That's where this little gem comes in. This dandy tool has one purpose in life, to scrape my sink when it's time to clean, which is everyday...at least once. It's flexible enough to contour to the rough soapstone, yet rigid enough to get into corners. Seems pretty durable to last for while. Love it.

The best tool for oil and cold wax painting. Sadly no longer available in the UK so it shipped from the US. Worth the wait though.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT FOR COLD WAX PAINTING!!! I know it would be a great bowl scraper and kitchen tool, it is made SO WELL, but I use it for cold wax painting. It has the perfect amount of firmness and movement to make cold wax and oil butter onto your substrate. I would definitely market it in the oil and cold wax world. I have been using the Art silicon pieces for this at the art store, and they work half as well as this bowl scraper!! If they ever want to make art products, they are WELL on their way with this amazing product!!!

Leaves the surface nice and smooth. Easy to grip. An high quality product, very pleased with this purchase.

This is an awesome dough/bowl scraper! Nice and solid with flexible edges; perfect for dough and cleaning the sides off the bowl for soft substances. You wouldn't be able to use it to chip off stuck-on goop!
