Make sure this fits your RV
Great product. Very heavy and very strong. I wasn’t able to install it in my travel trailer because I don’t have too much room for the legs that goes in the chassis. I was very excited but now I need to find a better option for my bikes. I gave this hitch 5 stars because it’s a great product. The fit issue was my fault. I didn’t take the correct dims.

Will have to modify to fit my I beam frame
Surprisingly the hitch was received on time and in good shape. Considering the weight and bulk of the package the box was intact and none of the contents were missing. My intent was to mount the hitch on the inside of the I beam frame of our trailer. However the drop down of the receiver was not enough to clear the bumper or the last cross member of the frame. The under frame mounting option was not feasible either as the mounting holes that would need to be drilled, 5/8" , would not have left enough metal in the bottom of the I beam to hold the load. I will need to cut the mounting bars and weld new extensions to the bottom of the originals to achieve the drop down clearance needed . This is no fault of the hitch manufacturer just what is needed to get the job done. The only complaint was the mounting bars were very difficult to slide into the receiver bar. This was due to burs in the receiver bar and a buildup of paint and burs on the end of the mounting bars. A few moments with a band file and everything was sliding freely again. I will update the content as needed after the modification and final installation.Update. After welding the drop down extensions on the mounting bars I drilled 2 , 1/2" holes thru the new assembly, used a drill press, and added 5' bolts to help stabilize the weld joint. Then attempted installation again. Got it in place, Drilled The 5/8" holes in the frame attached the bolts and got the receiver bar positioned where I wanted and marked. pulled the whole mess down again to drill the 5/8" holes thru the mounting bars as there wasn't enough room between the hitch and the last crossmember. Got the hitch back in place fought to get the bolts started in the hitch bar and finally completed installation. I don't really know if I would have been able to drill the required holes thru the hitch bar, in place, with a hand drill, making the required hole to align with the weld nut would be tough without a drill press. The assembly seems rigid enough and should hold the bike rack well. Won't be able to test till next year, the trailer is stored for the winter.

Part missing
Box arrived beaten up and one of the steel legs missing. Welding shop had to use spare parts to make it work.

Good Product
This is a very good product. Easy to install and the fact that it can be adjusted to fit is perfect. I did have to purchase a larger drill bit and socket, but no big deal. After installation the hitch was very strong and sturdy.

Buyer beware. It’s not fully refundable
After purchasing this hitch to place on my travel trailer I found out that it would not work without significant modifications to the hitch. I looked over the specs prior to purchasing and I knew that it may be a challenge to install due to the positions of the cross members on the trailer frame and frame design. I thought “I’ll order it off or prime that way I could send it back if it doesn’t work.” Yes I’m a prime member and all though it says it’s eligible for return and refund, IT IS NOT! There is some hidden fine print. It’s really hidden and appears intentionally buried. The sellers page says that they paid shipping and Amazon reimburses the seller. Because of this arrangement the seller keeps $50 is there is refund/return to pay for the return shipping. That’s bogus. I would not recommend any part of this product just because of this shady business. Also the welded nuts seem suspicious and could be prone to breaking off. Do yourself a favor and buy a better product from some other source.

Now I can carry my bikes on my camper
The media could not be loaded. I was a little concerned with the condition of the packaging when it was delivered. All the parts were scraped up from banging around in the box. Maybe better packaging would help. The box is heavy and I understand how it can get banged around. The parts were all there and I am anxious to get it installed.
