Needed this 20 years ago!
I work in aerospace and wear this daily. My comfort levels have really improved and I'm much more informed of when pollen season, forest fires smoke, chemicals and photocopier pollution is impacting me. I have installed heppa filters everywhere and now know when to activate them. I wish I had this decades ago. If you get a consistent polluted reading when you know you're in a cleaner area, there is a Reset Calibration under Settings as well.

The few minutes it takes to set up are worth it.
I love this product. I used it a couple of weeks ago and found out that when my cleaning woman was in my house the indoor air quality was 40 and the outdoor was 88. I have cleared my home of toxic cleaning products and look at the difference. I feel like I was poisoning myself for years without knowing it.

Great idea doesn’t quite function as it should yet
Great idea doesn’t quite function as it should yet. The tube air motoring is a great idea. The concept overall works well. However, there are some issues with the app. Sometimes the Atmotube doesn’t connect, sometimes the GPS recordings don’t come through, sometimes it loses data. Sometimes the alerts don’t work. The charger broke within a week and the company isn’t up for replacing it. The company doesn’t answer the phone personally, so you have to troubleshoot via email. They are pretty prompt, but it’s hard not to be able to have an interactive conversation. Was disappointed with the resoonse to the charging cord. Battery life is good . Would like the device on the data to be more reliable, as well as the support.

I like it!
I like Atmotube, and absolutely recommend it! This is my second device, I bought the first one a year ago. I work in a medical lab so I like to learn and measure how chemicals affect our health. I like that the new Atmotube Plus works even faster, it has more sensors than the previous version, and can also measure atmospheric pressure. Its battery holds a charge longer, so comparing to the old version I don’t need to charge it every two days. So far the Plus holds a battery charge for whole 6 days. This is really useful if I leave Atmotube at home, because even in this case, the entire measurement history is downloaded to the app by the time I come home in the evening.The design mainly stayed the same, only the new handle moves more smoothly and it is friendlier to use now.My previous Atmotube I donated to a colleague :)

Easy to use but less accurate humidity nor explicit detectable gas species.
I have newly bought a Atmotube Plus.I have a question if it can detect carbon monoxide or not.In the Amazon home page, VOC includes CO but it is not indicated on the home page.In addition, this new unit reports very low humidity comparing to my other humidity sensors.It reports about 10 or 15% less than others.I added my intuitive calibration value of +10% to the humidity in the settings menu.Plus a pressure calibration of -4.0 hPa had to be specified.Are these calibrations are in a normal range? I expected no manual calibration on arrival of a new product.Other than that the hardware looks very nice and works well.App's personal AQ map needs update: daily/weekly/monthly maps with AQ/T/RH/Pressure values with measurement time/day/month will be great.Thanks for the great product anyway. I hope continued update of the product and app.

Good battery life
I also own Atmotube 2.0. This model is much better in terms of battery life (1 week single charge). Bluetooth connection is also greatly improved (finally). The only downside - temperature measurements when you hold device in hand (it becomes quite hot). When you place device on the table - temperature is within sensor accuracy limit.

The required app is unduly intrusive into my device's privacy.
1. Tiny, hardly-readable instruction booklet does not explain the blinking LED status lights adequately.2. Box damaged on arrival, see photo.3. App demands rights to look at my location, all my files, and store its files.4. Booklet says requires 12 hours of charging before it can be used.5. Not useful as a standalone without the app.6. Battery seems to be nearly DOA. The light went out in less than 30 seconds.

Den eigentlichen Zweck - mobil die Luftqualität zu erfassen - erledigt das Gerät zufriedenstellend. Die Messwerte sind meistens etwas schlechter als meine stationären Messgeräte, tendenziell aber gleich. Was mir etwas fehlt ist die Feinstaubmessung, die sich aber beim großen Bruder mit fast dem doppelten Preis niederschlägt. Ansonsten gut und der Akku hält tatsächlich fast eine Woche durch. Ich würde das Gerät daher wieder kaufen.Ein Manko ist die Öse im Gehäuse, für die offensichtlich der beiliegende Karabiner gedacht ist. Leider ist dieser deutlich widerstandsfähiger als das Plastik, was leider (an der Hose getragen) dazu führte, dass die Öse bei einer unbedachten Bewegung einfach herausgebrochen wurde. Empfehlung daher: Karabiner und Gerät durch ein Band o.ä. entkoppeln, damit bei Drehungen kein so großer Druck ausgeübt werden kann...
