Sturdy but soft on mouth. Easy to fill and easy to hang (especially the smaller versions of the net) Great option for feeding over multiple days unless you have a hangry crazy young thoroughbred gelding who eats it all in a day. 1 inch holes are necessary for him, 1 1/2 too big but perfect for an easy going eater.

Like they say everything is bigger in Texas, so is this slow feeder. We use 125lb bales and this was just way too big making it too difficult to move once filled. But otherwise good quality, nice carabiner, just too big for our use.

These are my go to bale nets. I use them every day and have had them for over a year with three horses on them. Have not yet had a rip and I enjoy loading these up for when I’m going out of town. Cannot recommend them enough.

Saves hay

I ordered Texas net Only because I needed another one fast. I have bought 6 bags from another USA co. They have lasted at Least 5 yrs under daily use, heavy wear & dragging by my horse. I've only had to do occasional repair & repair string is included with order. Texas nets much less quality, not as soft on horses nose & Only 1 size of hole available but Same $$$. I DID NOT use Texas net. My horse quite smart so need to put 3 bags on hay bale each having different hole size, 1/2,1 &1 1/2". I can't give CO name but can say it's in USA & the ONLY product they make are high quality, various sizes of hay nets. NOT sold on equine equipment sites. Often have sales & "burners" a hint. Have purchased many different hay nets & theirs the BEST, most durable & affordable by far. Can't recommend Texas haynet, sorry.
