Excellent piano lamp
I am a piano teacher and used the 10 in. lamp for many years until I decided to get a wider one to light more music. It is well balanced so you can adjust it over the music without it falling. Two light bulbs came with it, and I think they are LED bulbs. When I first turned it on it was quite dim, but it seemed to get brighter in a few minutes. I was worried that I would have to replace the bulbs with brighter ones. Also, as mentioned above, the switch is on the cord instead of theside of the lamp like the smaller one. A little inconvenient but not a big deal.

I think I got a bad one.
The bulb is very hard to put in. I think the cord has a short because ever since I got it if it gets moved the slightest bit it goes out and I have to move the cord a bit. I use it with a baby grand piano and I have to set it on two books so it is high enough to be out of the way of my sheet music. It looks very nice and it gives a nice light.Update: the switch started smoking today. The switch was partly open and one cord is severed. I think this is why it has been shorting out. It could have started a fire.

A heavy lamp and crisp flat black paint looks nice. Unfortunately, the product description says it comes with the bulbs. It did not. Also, the felt seal on the bottom is not glued on properly and is uneven. For $160+, this should be much better.

Beautiful!
Very high quality piano lamp. Very elegant, very heavy, quality materials, nice finish, and 2 places to make adjustments so you can tilt it perfectly. Very stable because of the weight. You get what you pay for highly recommend!
