TSINY DC 6V Low Speed 1 RPM Geared Reducer Motor with Worm Gear Box for Robot Parts

Working as expected. I use a Belkin USB power adapter with it. RPM is just a little slower because the voltage of the adapter is slightly lower than the motor calls for. I get one RPM in about 1 minute and 10 seconds. Its a little noisier than I expected but it has not been used much so may have a break-in period to complete. One thing I did not like were the extremely fine threads in the mounting holes. no screws were provided. How would they know the length you need? So, I drilled the threads out and used 6-32 machine threads. I did not find any specs on the recommended torque limit, but for my use really does not apply. I am using it in a record cleaning machine.

I've bought 2 of these and the motors failed after a week on both. Load on the output shaft was less than 1 inch/pound and duty cycle was 15 minutes per 24 hours. I had to tear apart a machine and redesign it around a different type of gear motor. These wound up being very expensive cheap motors.

Was bought for a project that I have not had time to complete. Unit looks well made and runs well.
