I was honestly not expecting this to work on my 14 year old Pioneer AVIC Z-2. I didn't want to update the stereo because it has features that newer models don't have.I simply plugged it in and I cam now play media from my phone and make 0hone calls through the stereo.

The item works perfectly with my Pioneer avic Z1 head unit, but the cord tends to develop the most annoying short in a matter of a few months of daily use. The tip of the aux side is rather large, causing it to be hard to work around of you have a phone case. In terms of functionality, it seems perfectly fine.
