Like other reviews suggested, the very bottom frame is only held on by plastic brackets. Makes no sense really, as other components use massive screws that could have worked for the bottom too. Also, there is no back piece to the bottom frame, so its only supported on 3 sides.I opted NOT to use the bottom frame, and screwed 8 small furniture legs to the bottom instead. If you want to use the bottom frame, I would drill some holes and add your own wood screws for strength.I also opted not to use the tiny black retainers that secure the back panels in place. You can see the back of my unit, so I used glue instead. I put a thin bead of glue into the tracks, then slid the panels in.Overall, very nice unit. Finish is a thin layer of course, but it looks good and the construction is quite sturdy.The finish closely matches WAMPAT washed gray coffee tables and the Amerlife end tables found on Amazon. Very simple instructions to follow. I would highly recommend building with 2 people as some of the pieces are heavier and larger than others and having an extra set of hands to support while the other screws in is always helpful. This piece is exceptional. We were blown away by how fun it was to build together and how beautiful and functional it actually is now that it’s been constructed and in use for a few months! Highly recommend purchasing this! Very farm house classy!

Mother and 12 year old daughter assembling, using hand screwdrivers and alen wrench provided. Two of the metalhardware pieces literally broke while assembling the item. Thankfully, they had supplied a few additional pieces of the hardware. There are roughly 30 steps to assembly. The instructions are not clear, there are not written instructions, only photos, and sometimes the photos don't tell you which way the finished edge of a partcular board should face during step 6 or 7 of the installation process. After completing several steps, recognizing the problem and undoing several steps to correct the problem, we were able to get it assembled correctly. I can't say it's the most sturdy if you try to pick it up to move it, however I don't have any concerns about the ability to hold a 50" television. I'm not certain the hardware they provided is strong enough to keep the top mounted to the cabinet if you pick it up, so we actually used a dolly to transport it back to the bedroom from the living room where we assembled it. It took more than two hours to assemble. I have recently moved offices and ordered new desks, new chairs, book shelves and hand crafted two large tables...each of these projects were easier to assemble than this cabinet. Now that assembly is finished, we really enjoy the cabinet itself! Looks great in my daughter's room.

The first thing I noticed was the packaging came with two boards, one at each end, which actually saved the cabinet from being damaged during transport. I immediately knew that they cared about quality and customer satisfaction. I had previously ordereda fish stand on here and was upset that the boards due to the rough handling during shipping. So I see first hand the benefit of this small but worthwhile gesture by the company.I immediately spread the boards out around my kitchen in number order and the hardware on the kitchen cabinet. This allowed ample space as I thought it would be a very complex time. I had this together in less than 45 minutes and more importantly - it made sense!Cons - one board was 3/8' too short and it's directly behind the top bar for the farm doors. The cabinet is still extremely sturdy and this wasn't a point where any hardware connected so it's only cosmetic. Given that and the fact it's naturally not very visible I am not upset and didn't contact the manufacturer.I would buy this again and I would recommend it.

The instructions walked you right through getting it together. 2 people will make assembly easy but if you have a good arm span & strength you can do it alone. The console is heavy & sturdy. There is a bag that has extra parts if you lose some.. The manufacturer provides a quality product except they were cheap on the base molding attachment, using plastic angle braces for an area that has a lot of weight bearing down on it. Be careful when setting the console upright, do not put a lot of weight on the base molding or it will snap off.

The first one I ordered had multiple damaged pieces so I was a little disappointed with that. Although, it was super easy to return it. I then re-ordered another one that came in perfect condition. Very pleased!! I was a little skeptical after reading multiple poor reviews regarding assembly and the condition their item came in. You ordered a piece of furniture that you have to assemble on your own, therefore that means this item isn't going to be easily assembled in a matter of 15 minutes. I assembled this all on my own and the instructions were very clear. 10/10 would recommend!

Overall, the product does what we were looking for - storage solution and bar cabinet. The TV will be wall mounted, but for now, the cabinet supports the weight good.It was easy to put together, did take some time. Recommend to layout all the parts first. And its easy with two people.The wood top is nice. The rest is white melamine on pressed board. You get what you pay for.

I truly love the way this tc stand looks. It fits the style we were going for. It was more sturdy than I expected. I was also pleasantly surprised at the ease it was to assemble! It does scratch easily so that’s a negative.
